Punta Gorda Botanical Retreat & Nursery

20 acres of Outdoor lover’s paradise! Hundreds of exotic and native plants, five stocked ponds swarming with fish, tons of birds and wildlife We have numerous plants in trees available at our nursery.A truly unique place, best described as an oasis. A plant and nature enthusiast’s playground!

The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath “camp style” manufactured home with a heated plunge pool, screened in porch, outdoor showers, Jacuzzi bathtub and many other upgrades. Ideal for the ultimate country experience. Fire pit, hammocks, grills, and picnic tables are provided, making the perfect setup.

There is room for RV parking and plenty of places to setup campsites. A great place for family reunions, kids birthdays, and multi family vacations.

We are located in the center of many popular outdoor attractions. Within a 20 to 30 minute drive you can reach-

Also within reach is the Everglades, amazing beaches, world class inshore fishing, historic towns, and great waterfront restaurants.

The closest store is 30 minutes away, remember to bring all the supplies you will need. The property is located in country home and cattle land, you will have to take dirt roads to get there. We are located in an area of true Country living! The area is peaceful and beautiful, a great place to relax and unwind. Occasionally distant neighbors ride dirt bikes and shoot firearms, but rarely disturbs the tranquility.

To keep a safe and pleasant environment we have put together a list of rules.
1. Discharge or open carry of a firearm is strictly prohibited.
2. Please do not collect, harvest, hunt, or harass; plants, fish, or wildlife. Cast-netting and hunting is prohibited. We practice catch and release fishing on the property.
3. Off-road vehicle operation is not allowed (golf carts are allowed).
4. Exceeding predetermined occupancy must be approved and each guest must check in with identification.
5. Please do not bring pets that are animal aggressive, not house trained, not on flea prevention, or not up to date on shots. $100 cleaning fee will be added for pets, Please give notification prior to arrival.
6. Please keep all open flames in the designated fire pit area.
7 Please discard cigarette butts and all other trash into bins.
8. Guest’s are not permitted in the barn or nursery area... call and we can give a tour
9. No swimming in ponds.
10..Please return all items clean and organized for the next guests enjoyment (yard games, hammocks, grills, etc.).
12.No fireworks (high risk of brush fire)

Peace and Quiet

This was a great place for me, my wife, and two girls. It was exactly what we were looking for within a few hours of home. My daughter enjoyed the heated pool, the nature, and tree swing off of back porch. Me and my wife loved the secluded, quiet, off the beaten path property. The front deck/screen porch was great for all of us to just relax and chat. Literally, all the amenities you need are on property (fishing, paddle boat, corn hole, bbq, nature trails, fire pit, pool, 1 frisbee golf hole, and more)! We stayed in the house/property all week and were more than satisfied. Be sure you go grocery shopping as grocery store is 25min. away and also be sure your vehicle can handle a lil dirt and mud especially incase of rain back on dirt roads. We loved it and would recommend to any family wanting some peace and quiet quality time with one another………………….Yes there’s WiFi! LOL!

Pure Slice of Florida Heaven

Wow is all we can say. From the ease of checking in and any questions the owner was top knotch. Where to start. My wife , young son and I need a break away from the craziness of miami and found this place. Instantly we felt at ease. And couldn’t wait to get over there. Just a short drive and we were in at the property. Meet by Dan and Chelsea who help to take care of this amazing place. Greeted as friends with fresh flowers and exoctic fruits from the property put the city far behind us. Crickets and fireflies and pure country. Waking up to A meticulously maintened area, ponds and wildlife. My wife and son sooo happy. There is an outside showered well ( recommended lots of privacy ) we home around the place looking at all the life and trees and ponds ( with fish you can feed ) this is a home away from home. Dan and Chelsea stopped by later to check o us and Male sure everything was going perfect. It was and they also took the time to show us around , meet the newest editions the peacocks and also took us next door to and exoctic fish farm Donna and Joe , absolutely amazing people This trip over was not long enough and I am hard pressed not to right 15 pages about all that we experienced over there. But not ruin the suprise for the next guests. We highly recommend this place , now out favorite place in Florida to family, friends or any body needing a recharge. We are already planning our next trip over. Thank you Shon, Dan, Chelsea , Donna and Joe !!! See you guys again soon Blodgett Family

Awesome place!

We had a wonderful time! Great place to get away from the hustle of the city. Ponds are stocked with fish, which my husband enjoyed. The neighbors were wonderful and Shon was so helpful with any questions. Would definitely recommend if you want a quiet place to just breathe!

We had a nice time at this property. My only wish that it was closer to places. It is 30 minutes from a store ( which it said in description) and an hour from a beach. Other than that it was a beautiful place to stay if you enjoy nature.

“Glamping” Perfection

The property was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Check in was easy, and Shon was great to communicate with the whole time. He was very helpful and quick to respond. The property is very secluded and the perfect place to get away from it all. The 5 ponds are well stocked and we had the best time fishing with the kids. Our son enjoyed catching bass and tilapia. We also enjoyed exploring the property, which is very well maintained. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The screened in porch area was perfect for relaxing and eating outside. We enjoyed grilling and making s’mores on the fire pit every night. Great place to enjoy nature and relax! We hope to return soon.
