Discover the most family-friendly getaway in the Canadian Rockies at The Copperstone Resort Hotel. Located five minutes outside Canmore, Alberta, in the serene hamlet of Dead Man’s Flats, our all-suite property is just moments from downtown shopping and dining, world-class golf courses and Banff National Park. Enjoy incredible high speed Fiber Optic performance when you stay at the Copperstone Resort Hotel! The breathtaking suites each feature a full kitchen, living room with electric fireplace, flat panel TV’s and in-suite laundry. Our 1,250 square foot multi-level Two Bedroom Suite offers two full-sized bedrooms (one Queen bed and one King bed) with separate ensuite bathrooms. There is also a sofa bed in the living room.  Maximum capacity is six guests.

Great stay

This is our second year staying at Copperstone Resort and we had a great time. The place is quiet though there are a lot of people around and it is very dog-friendly. The office staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this resort.

Great views of the mountains and easy access to the highway

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was close to the highway and close to Canmore. However, it was a little bit of a drive to the main Banff attractions. Overall, it served its purpose, but nothing special.

Inlaw Getaway

Visiting in-laws wanted a quick getaway to the mountains. It was lovely! Despite the rain we were able to see the town of Canmore, some trails, and a quick trip into Banff, as well. Just a note to the owners that it would have been even better if all 6 of us had had a cup for morning coffee and more than 1 tea towel to help with clean up. Otherwise our stay in your beautiful condo was great! Thanks!

Beautiful mountain retreat!

My friend and I love exploring National Parks and wilderness throughout North America, and this was a wonderful basecamp for our adventures in Banff, Jasper, and Kootenay! This resort was close to the town of Canmore, which we found more appealing in terms of cost and relaxation then staying directly in one of the parks. Additionally, the facilities were clean and well organized. We would have loved to have access to the fire pit for more extended hours (it closed at 10pm each night), we understand that it was linked to the staffing hours for the front desk. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice get away

Our stay at Copperstone was nice. The apartment was roomy and clean. It would have been a little better if their was a second hot tub as the one they had was pretty full a lot of the time. Another BBQ would have also been nice. My only other complaint was the lack of utensils in the unit. No scissors, no tongs. Overall though it was nice and would recommend this place.

Couldn't get door lock to operate entire stay. Desk provided key, so ok. On initial attempt found door unlocked. Hair in drawers of both bathrooms. All salt and pepper packets used and still there in dish. Food debris in silverware drawer. No sugar in dispenser, one only coffee packet provided

Unit comments

The unit we stayed in this visit was not as well-supplied as one we stayed in last year. Nothing major was missing. It was cold at night in the bedrooms. Extra blankets not found.Bed was made so that covers could not be pulled up. Transition from patio to unit tricky - unexpectedly long drop, see potential for injury.
