So many personal touches and extras like banana bread and breakfast tacos plus great bath products for a nice soak. Highly recommend for a charming weekend.
My in-laws stayed here for founders day a eekend and loved everything about this place. They even had banana bread! Host was super easy to communicate with and made the whole process painless. Would definitely book again

It really was gorgeous. The property owner actually provided SNACKS! A few issues. Well water, so no water pressure - no shower only a tub so didn't shower/bathe for 3 days due to water pressure. Wifi password was not accepted - kept wifi off the entire time. It was 10 miles in the boonies. A gate I had to undo and redo every time I cane or went. Also there is a house right next door so not sure if that is sometimes rented separately but that would just be awkward.
Really loved the place. Quiet, quaint and comfortable. Everything was functional. Kitchen had comforts of home including wonderful home baked banana bread for each of our 2 days. Bathroom had a jacuzzi tub, but not a shower. The weather was comfortable so we did not even turn on the ac or heat. Slept with windows open. We are country folk so the neighbors rooster crowing at 5:30 was a comforting nature sound. Had the windows been closed and a/c on we might not have even heard it. If you are seeking a quiet natural setting, this is a good place. The 4 star for ease of check in was because it could use a little more noticeable address at the front gate. The gate lock was a bit tricky but did work. The 4 star on cleanliness was more for aesthetics. Well water in the toilet bowl gave it a dirty appearance. Not sure how that can be avoided with well water.
Accurate info for listing. Very cozy place to stay. Host was very generous with water, coffee, snacks and providing soap shampoo etc.

Disappointed
Badly needs an upgrade! Not suggesting expensive, just newer items, furniture, etc. Bedroom furniture was acceptable. The worst part was the overwhelming, crippling smell of Pine-Sol. It was unbearable.
