WATER LEVEL
As of February 16, 2026, our dam is complete! The lake view is already looking beautiful, and we’re hoping for a full lake this summer. In the meantime, fishing and kayaking are great, but swimming isn’t ideal—the shoreline is muddy, and some debris is still moving downstream. Once it’s full, though, the lake will be absolutely stunning!

IMPORTANT DETAILS
You’ll be staying in one side of a duplex. While the outdoor spaces, fire pit, and riverfront are shared with the neighboring unit, you’ll have a fully private interior, carport, and back porch equipped with a grill and outdoor dining. Please note, the boat lift is for owner use only.

We utilize professional pest control on a regular schedule, but this does not guarantee a pest-free visit, inside or out. Because we're in the country and near water, you may encounter various wildlife and insects.

We do our best to schedule our lawn service when the property is empty. Sometimes we are unable to coordinate this, and the lawn crew may be present for a few hours during your stay.

We live locally and also have local maintenance and housekeeping for needs that may arise.

Perfect get away

Nice property with everything you need for a nice family trip. The home was nicely kept with all the essentials as well as games and books for a nice family trip. The host was always available and was a great communicator. I have nothing but great things to say about our stay.

Relaxing and peaceful place!

The house was so cute and well stocked! The river nearby is so peaceful. We had a wonderful, relaxing the stay. The neighbors around are as friendly as they come. The owners are the kindest people and make sure you have everything you need. We will absolutely be back again!

Nice stay at Reiley Retreat, Seguin

My wife and I stayed for a month and enjoyed our stay immensely. We travelled more than 1600 miles to the area from home and had not been to the area before. The directions were accurate and easy to follow to find the property. The property had all the amenities that we needed for our stay, the facility was organized and clean and we had no issues while staying there. We were provided with information about the area including local points of interest, so we enjoyed several local restaurants, points of interest and we travelled to other close towns in the area. Our stay was enjoyable and we would certainly return if the opportunity presents itself. Thanks

Great River Stay

The house was perfect size for us. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our own meals. Our host was very polite and staying in contact the whole time. The river was a little bit of a walk from the house but still close enough to see.

Now I manage our properties full-time, which lets me spend more time with our growing family—and share this little slice of lake life with guests like you. It’s truly our favorite place to unwind, and we hope it becomes one of yours too!

Why they chose this property

We love being in, on, and near water. Living in Austin, we wanted something close enough to make an easy weekend trip for our young family to grow up making memories here. The views at Reiley Retreat are easily the best on this stretch, and it's in such a peaceful spot of Texas with all kinds of things to do nearby. We come back home after a weekend at Reiley Retreat, and it feels like a lifetime has passed.
