Great Amenities

The splash pad, lazy river, pools, and private beach were amazing. I would stay at this complex again. The condo met our needs, but compared to other rentals I have had the kitchen and linens were minimally stocked.

Beautiful resort, not so great experience with this rental

I really enjoyed the resort and location, but had a less than great experience with the owner and the actual apartment. After asking twice, I received check in instructions the night before arrival. Listed amenities include shampoo and basic soap. There was no soap, shampoo, washcloths or hand towels to be found. The kitchen had no paper towels, hand towels, dish washing scrubbers, coffee filters, or basic spices. On Monday I let the owner know that the propane tank was empty, and the air conditioner was leaking water down the wall. When we left on Saturday neither issue had been addressed. The countertop is warped, and the faucet handle is about to fall off, but the appliances and cabinets are nice. The dining table, which is also warped, has the finish worn off in several places, and has chairs that have been heavily damaged by cats. The living room furniture is also heavily damaged by cats with parts of the upholstery hanging in strings and the couch is held up with a concrete block where a leg is missing. The patio furniture is faded and stained as well and there are random tiles in the bathrooms that have been replaced with tiles of a smaller size and different color with caulk filling the extensive gaps. The repairs that have been made in the apartment are obvious and of poor quality. I was required to buy damage insurance before I could rent the apartment. From what I saw, there was not much damage I could have created that did not already exist.
