Specifically geared to larger groups ,This large 146 year old oceanfront home situated on a beautiful 1 acre lot overlooking the Souris Harbor, is the Ideal setting for your family vacation, reunion or group outing. This 4000 sq ft. 6 bedroom 6 1/2 bath home, is suitable for a large family or a small crowd. With a comfortable living room and a large enclosed sun porch there is plenty of room for everyone. A large, well equipped kitchen and four fireplaces give this property a homey feel. Located waterfront in the fishing community of Souris Pei it is nearby to many scenic beaches, Tuna and other deep sea fishing charters, whale watching charters, world class golf courses and Gourmet Restaurants. The confederation trail bicycle path entrance is within 100 ft of the property.And the isle-de-la- madeline ferry dock is 200 yards east of this home. Weather you're a fisher a golfer a Cyclist or simply want a relaxing beach vacation, this property is ideal.Available for three day, weekly or monthly rental. Great Location

The house was comfortable and very well located. The host was very helpful throughout our stay. I would only recommend better WIFI speed and coverage in the house. Overall a good experience.

Family Celebration Trip

Bulwinkles is a charming older place with lots of interesting decor. The host was pleasant and check in was fairly easy. But the place wasn't clean when we checked in and we spent a lot of time making it habitable for our group of 12. The outdoor space was not user friendly and lacked furniture for a place this size. Overall these factors had negative impact on our family celebration and our enjoyment of Souris, PEI.

Bring your own toilet paper

This place is dirty and run down. There are bugs and mosquitoes in the house. The bathrooms and kitchen are filthy. I was very disappointed and my family was embarrassed for me. I thought I had rented a nice old house for a family vacation but it looks nothing like the pictures on the website. The location is great. We ran out of toilet paper on the second day. I called Brady to ask if there was any more and he told me to get it myself. We left a day early and rented hotel rooms in charlotown.

You did rent a nice old house, one which looks exactly as it is pictured. I spend much time and energy making my home clean and comfortable for my guests. As I explained to you on the phone ,I supply you with 14 rolls of toilet paper to start you out, if you run out in two days you may purchase more at the grocery store a block away.

regrets

In the opinion of our family this property needs extensive repairs to be safe and habitable. In fairness to the owner it is very old. Shortly after our arrival we called the owner to clean faeces from a toilet and to remove dog hair and dirt from the entryway. He was rude and reluctant , said we were nit picking. The kitchen was filthy. We chose to wash the glasses and utensils before use. The yard was full of potholes, dog faeces and uncut grass. A dangerous abandoned well was accessible. The recycling green bin was so full of flies you could not approach. My husband attempted to speak to the owner about the issues he called us passive aggressive and told him to F--- off Our family holiday experience was greatly reduced for having chosen Bulwinkles Souris P.E.I.

Large Comfortable place, great for big groups!

Very roomy , clean comfortable home easily accommodated our group of three families. A giant well equipped kitchen,and we especially liked the sun porch!

The fishing community of Souris is a friendly rural community.. Beaches , Charter tours and fishing , golf and bicycling are all located nearby. You can also choose get aboard the Isle-de-la-madeline ferry for a vacation within a vacation. In July the Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival is held a short drive from town and draws musicians from all over the world.Souris makes a fine location for your PEI vacation ,it is close to many wonderful beaches and restaurants yet away from the overly touristy areas of PEI.
