Our 11-night stay at this cozy home in Broken Arrow was absolutely perfect. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home—comfortable, inviting, and thoughtfully prepared. What made it even more special was the incredible hostess, who came to our rescue on short notice when another booking company canceled just hours before our arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay or a more gracious host. Highly recommend!
I would definitely recommend this property the host was amazing and the property was very nice and comfortable the location was very convenient had a nice time visiting my family for thanksgiving definitely a great place
We stayed with some friends for an event to be within walking distance and it was super convenient. The house was clean and comfortable. Grace was a pleasure to work with and the check in and out process was super easy!
This was my first time using VRBO, and I found it confusing. I sent several messages to the host, which were sent to "no reply". I hadnt written down her phone number, and then could not locate it in VRPO. I finally found how to actually message her, and she cslled me almost immediately.
The house was lovely and centrally located to where we wanted to go. It was neat and clean
We did have problems with unlocking the door and she agreed it was "finnicky" We realized we just had to enter the code VERY slowly and wait for the click.
I would recommend this cottage.

Not at all as described and you feel like you are on live TV!
I booked this because it shows it's a
VRBO and it's an ABNB, big difference, it listed 3 bedrooms with 1 of them having 3 beds in it, bedroom doesn't exist, my 3 boys were going to sleep in there, it was a tiny little pink room with a little bed, a full size bed in 2nd bedroom, king in master with no shower or electricity to plug into, only a light, toilet and sink. The shed outside was really freaky as the lights kept going on and off all night long, the back yard is a jungle, needs mowed and cleaned, sprayed for everything, I spoke with the owner Grace and she said she would back me in the listing being wrong on your site for the rental, I also got billed an extra 50.00 for 2 extra guests, the house sleeps 7 and I took my 3 boys and husband. I got tired of the owner blowing me up over everything, there is nothing like someone spying on you from 4 different cameras, no telling if there were any in the house, the house is very tiny and at most maybe 2 adults and 2 children, only 1 tub and shower combo for 7 people? I really appreciated her text at 1:17 AM telling me to move a shirt off of a camera or I would be liable, also if you are a man you are allowed to smoke CIGARS but she owns the outside air so you can't smoke cigarettes! I'm waiting to see if maybe this was a big prank, when we got there my code worked but it was not the house in the pictures, everything is marked off with red tape SO DON'T TOUCH IT!

Response from VrboOwner on 28 Jun 2022
Her accusations are not accurate. If you are a host reading this review please be aware of this tenant. She had nothing but complaints from the very get go when I have accurately advertised my rental on VRBO. She complained that the neighbors were mowing at 6:45 at night (I don’t control the neighbors and their lawn care crew) and then proceeded to turn down the air conditioning very low and complained that there was condensation dripping from the vents with it being 94° with a real feel of 100° at 6:45pm and an active heat advisory. She complained that a branch from my tree was on the ground saying my lawn crew is lying. The neighborhood is older and has many tall trees and it is a wooded area with a Firepit as well as a patio with furniture and a grill and hammock. In regards to the rooms, they are correctly advertised and I verified with VRBO the descriptions. 2 full (double) beds 1 twin and 1 king sized bed. It has 1 1/2 bathrooms. I do live in this house when it’s not rented so there are some cabinets that are marked not for use as they are personal items but the kitchen and bathroom are adequately stocked for anything you might need. She messaged in the middle of the night asking why I had a computer and desk in my photography studio which is located in the back. I’m not sure why she is looking in the windows of my building that is not for her access. She also decided to smoke at my doors which a neighbor informed me of and I wanted to ensure she wasn’t smoking inside so I asked her. I have security cameras around my house on the outside that have lights on a motion sensor. She seemed very paranoid that the lights would turn on while she was moving around outside. It seemed the whole time she was staying in my home she was contacting me multiple times and said she read that she could smoke cigarettes despite my description of no cigarettes. Once I informed her I knew she was smoking she proceeded to cover my security cameras with tshirts so she could continue to smoke on my property. She told me she didn’t feel safe so I offered to have the police come out. Once I offered this she said she was fine and I no longer heard from her. I went on to search her criminal history and it isn’t short to say the least.
Unfortunately she seemed to come into this rental with the intention of complaining and even told me on the phone she was looking for reimbursement from VRBO. Anyhow be aware of renting to her.

Would like to see improvements
I read the reviews after booking and sadly was met with the same complaints others stated. I am writing this review in hopes that the owner improves the property.
The description of the home should include that the home is lived in, hence the wall decorations in the bedrooms, family photo in the living room, heights written on the door jam. This was more odd for my children to experience than it was for me.
Upon checkin the owner let me know the robot vacuum got stuck somewhere so if it wasn’t clean enough I could use the vacuum in the hallway. The floors were clean enough for me but the other furniture could have used a good dusting. Also the hallway return air vent was as so bad I decided to dust and wash it myself.
In the kitchen I wasn’t able to locate anything to wash the dishes, no sink drain plug, and when I went to use the dishwasher I discovered it was FULL of dishes, which I couldn’t determine if they were clean or dirty. There was also a limited supply of utensils and pots. I wasn’t able to boil spaghetti in a pot, we had 5 staying there and the house is listed for 7. Please go out and buy some cheap pots and pans, clean the corner cabinet and organize the utensils and silverware.
The backyard seemed like it would have been a nice place to enjoy, but unfortunately it was not groomed, and hard to look at. The front yard had tree saplings 8” tall, so I could only assume the lawn had not been mowed in a while.
Please make suggested improvements
This is a very charming little house and was a sweet place to stay. One drawback was it was not in the location that was most convenient for me as it’s difficult to get the exact location of a VRBO property until you have already booked. I was coming to visit my elderly mother whose residence was about 20 minutes away. The only other drawback was the housekeeping. It was a bit dirty in some places. The linens were fresh and clean, but the floors and things like that need a deeper cleaning. All in all it’s a very sweet and charming house and I would stay there again.
The host was very responsive to our needs and kept us informed at all we needed to know. The beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the whole feel of the house! Perfect for us during our stay for my graduation from NSU.
3 friends and I drove from Louisiana for Heidi Baker (my hero of the faith and missionary to Africa.
As the four of us walked into the house we felt peace immediately. Clean, cozy with comfortable beds. We cooked our meals there and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The service we attended at UMC was wonderful.
Grace went above and beyond for our stay there. She was excellent to work with.

Not As Expected
My family of six stayed here for almost a week. We found it a bit of an odd VRBO; it felt like we were living in someone else's home, alongside their stuff. There were cupboards in the kitchen where red tape marked off items that were not for guest use. The garage was full of the hosts personal stuff that was a big mess; totally understandable for someone's private garage but it felt unprofessional for a vacation rental home. The walls in the kids rooms were marked up and again, it might be normal to see in a well-lived in home but not a vacation rental.
There were concerns over the smell of gas in the garage during our stay (never in the house). All in all, I would not stay here again. If you know what to expect, it might work well for you, but it lacked what I expect in a vacation rental.
I will say the host was friendly and very responsive in communicating.
This was everything we wanted for our trip. We each had our own room, comfy living room with tv and Roku, and a nice big kitchen/dining room. The owner was easy to contact when I had a question.
Very nice.
The house was only .03 miles from my partents' house and served as a perfect space for us to stay over the Christmas holiday. Grace was super responsive and attended promptly to the only mild issue we had during our stay. Will definitely stay next time we are in Broken Arrow.
