Shanty - Close to the Ark Encounter

Galloping Goose Cottages located Dry Ridge, Kentucky. We offer 10 cottages 8 with Queen Beds and 2 with Twin beds. All are fully equipped with Air Conditioning and Heat, Cozy beds with Luxurious Linens, Full Bathroom, ROKU Flat Screen Tv's, Wi-Fi, Mini Refrigerator, Microwave, and Keurig. The cottages are 190 Square feet. Parking on premises is available. They're located only minutes away from The Ark in Williamstown, KY! The Cottages are located next to a train track.
After making a reservation please be sure to check your email. The cottages are self check in. There is no office onsite. All check-in details such as address, access codes etc. will be located in that email.
After a reservation is made please complete the pre-checkin details sent to your email from RGC Enterprise Vacation Homes. Our address as well as places to eat and things to do in the area will be listed.
The Access code to your cottage is sent 3 days before your reservation via email.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Lovely week

These cottages are very cute. They were much smaller that we expected, though. But we were so busy with our family visiting The Ark and the Creation Museum that it was just fine. Its located on a beautiful piece of property!

All in all was good Air Conditioner was right on the side of the bed and would get cold on the head. May need to put a diverted to redirect the air.

Only 2 towels and no hair dryer

If you are a woman with long hair and you want to dry your hair after washing it how do you do that with out an extra towel? Also make sure you bring Keurig coffee pots because that's the coffee maker. And you only get two pods for three nights total for two people.

Cute Units

The property is immaculate and cottages are adorable. The units are small but adequate. Trains passed regularly, but with the fan on the air conditioning unit running it blocked the noise. Could have used more coffee and fresh cups (2 day stay) but management didn’t respond to our request. Overall, we were very pleased. Good value for the price.

As we pulled into the parking area of the Galloping Goose Cottages, we were so happy to see the quaintness of their appearance and the inside was just as charming. The cleanness of the inside was beyond reproach. The birds in the area woke us and put us to sleep with their lullaby. Believe it or not, the train was soothing and didn’t bother us at all. It was all a lovely experience and I will recommend it to my friends.

Perfect for short getaway

It was very nice for a weekend getaway with my spouse. It is extremely tiny, as advertised so staying for an extended amount of time may be difficult. We went to the Ark Encounter and Creation museum and was perfect for our weekend. The only downsides were the location being right next to rail road tracks and the trains are very loud through the night and the AC unit. The room would either get too warm or too cold if we turned the temperature down. It was very hot outside though so maybe that's what the issue was. Overall would stay again though for a weekend.

Nice clean cottage

The cottage was just as listed, arrived Sunday. If towels or essentials are needed, you mark a card provided & put it on your door knob. We asked for clean towels & washcloths. We arrived back to our cottage & 2 girls were at some of the cottages cleaning them. They saw us arrive & left our clean items outside in a chair without getting the dirty ones. Next day, filled out card for clean towels and washcloths, & coffee. Arrived back at 4:10, nothing there. I called the # provided inside & someone brought us our items & got the 2 days of dirty towels washcloths and towels. That was the only glitch in our whole trip. I was concerned if they didn't get the dirty towels they would mildew soon.
