Perfect location for access to the Heavenly gondola. Beds were comfortable, wine happy hour was fun, room was clean with plenty of towels, lots of storage and hanging space. I’ll happily stay again!

Overall we had a great time. Breakfast was amazing. Everyday was something added that was different from the previous day. The location is fantastic. Right in the middle with a 3 minute walk to the gondola to Heavenly. The pool was nice as well as the hot tub. Would stay here again with our family of 6.

We had a perfect stay. The location is amazing…just about a 3 block walk to the gondola and Heavenly Village. The room was as pictured, clean and comfortable. Beds were great. Breakfast was free, fresh and very good. The pool was closed but the hot tub seemed a popular venue. Best of all this place got quiet after dark which is apparently not the case with the Marriott options found in town (as reported by other skiers.) We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and everyone we encountered at the property or on the slopes seemed to agree!

We enjoyed our two nights at The Forest Suites Resort in South Lake Tahoe. We were able to get a first story room which was really important for Sonny, our older dog. We booked through Vrbo very conveniently. Overall, our room accommodations for 7 people were delightful. The only mystery lies in never knowing the name of the resort, until we got there. Maybe I just missed it. Added costs for amenities and parking seemed a bit undisclosed. A roll-away bed was an added cost, too. It was the only reasonable way for 7 people to sleep. The weekday prices were reasonable, however - and we were right under the Heavenly ski lifts. (That was a plus!)
