This attractive and spacious five-bedroom/six-bath home features a partial oceanview, that includes whitewater and spectacular sunset views. There is only one other house separating it from the awesome sand, waves, and surf of Newport Beach. Beach House on Seashore is a perfect vacation home for a large family or group. Special feature includes a rooftop deck with great views. The ground level has two large living rooms -- each with a TV, DVR & DVD, a full kitchen, a bedroom with an attached bathroom, a hall bathroom, and a laundry room with a free washer and dryer for tenants' use. Also on this level is a two-car garage, with extra parking behind the garage door. The upper level has a gorgeous master bedroom with an ocean view, balcony, a king-size bed, sitting room with a trundle bed, a walk-in closet, a jacuzzi tub, and a giant walk-in shower with a seat and dual shower heads. Three more bedrooms are on this level -- two of which have attached bathrooms. And there is a hall bathroom on this level also.


Amenities include six cable TVs, two DVRs and a DVD. On Seashore Drive there is a bike path that can be used for biking, skating, jogging, walking, or just people-watching. Also on Seashore Drive -- less than one-half mile away, is a park with basketball, handball, and tennis courts. Enjoy an active vacation on the beach. Or visit the many local attractions which are an easy drive from this great Newport Beach location.

Turn off the lights and return the keys

Find remotes for all TV's and place by the TV where they can be easily found. If any TV wires of configuration was changed please return to where the TV is ready to show cable TV viewing.

Return remote garage door opener and the 2 house keys to the blue cup on the cabinet to the left of the Seashore Drive doors.

Arrange and lock the bikes together in the garage using the 2 locks provided.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Quiet time in this neighborhood is 10:30 pm to 8 am

Cancellation Policy: 100% refund prior to 30 days of arrival.

Bookings from June to Mid-October must be for 7 nights Saturday to Saturday.

Awesome location and family friendly!

The house is beautiful with very nice updates. Plenty of space for the whole family. We had one minor problem, but Gary the owner had someone out to fix it within a few hours. Definitely would recommend and would love to come back one day.

This trip was our first one with our son and his family. The house had plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 children. Kitchen was well equipped. Having sand toys, boogie boards and sand chairs at the house saved room for our trip down. We would recommend this house.

What a wonderful place to spend time with my family!

Gary was very helpful! The location is spectacular, close to the beach and a quiet neighborhood. Lots of sand chairs to use, booster seats that work like high chairs for the grandkids, kitchen supplies (seasonings, pots and pans and cooking utensils plus plates and glasses). Might want to add whiskey glasses, there was only one. The bedrooms worked very well and had a restroom in 4 of the 5. Only issues is the bunk beds, need to be sturdier. It worked fantastic for our group. I would wholeheartedly recommend Gary’s home for a trip to the beach. It was everything were were looking for our trip to Newport. Thanks for everything Gary!!

Large group trip

We had 3 families with 5 adults and 7 kids and were very comfortable in this house. Ideal location to beach and short walk to coffee/food spots. Garage fits a Tahoe size rental and space to park second car behind garage. The house is quiet and has A/C and kitchen is well equipped. The only negative is that it was not super clean—lots of dust and dirt on baseboards and in the fans. The house and furniture are old but the dust is a separate issue! Overall a wonderful stay!

Great location & neighborhood. Easy, close beach access. Great host.

Family vacation with three couples & nine kids (2-12yrs). Plenty of room for everyone to have their separate space or gather together, or a little bit of both. Furnishings were comfortable & clean. Family room & master bedroom fireplaces were awesome. The house could use some deep cleaning & a few new blinds (but, so could our home). Overall, it was great. Gary was responsive & accommodating. Our nightly rate for 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 family rooms, balcony off the master with an ocean view & more, all within a few steps of the beach was fabulous! We never wanted it to end! We would love to make it a tradition! Thanks Gary!.

Best beach house we’ve rented. We are a family of 9 with 7 adult children

All our kids agree with us that this place is amazing. The location is the absolute best!!! My husband and I were so comfortable in the master bedroom. It was beautiful. The rooftop deck was so much fun. There were plenty of linens for us all. We hope to stay here for a week every august. So many things in walking distance too. Thanks Gary and Vrbo. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Lovely location

Incredible location, right on the beach, close to everything. Comfy beds with lots of linens and towels, and beach stuff. The cleanliness was not what I had hoped. The home needs a good deep clean, and it lacked some basic kitchen items. Overall, it was a perfect spot for our needs and I would recommend it for any large group that wants to be on the beach!

What a great week!

We spent 8 days here, quarantining on the beach, gathering in the evening, playing games and talking. We loved the house - it was plenty of room, so close to the beach, with a kitchen that was perfect for our needs. We unanimously voted to make this an event we do every year!

Great location and beautiful dream home’

We had a great stay in this beautiful, spacious home. Our extended family had plenty of space. The large gathering areas were great for watching movies and playing games. It was great to have some bikes to ride to the pier. Very comfortable and lots of sand toys, beach chairs, beach towels etc! We’ve stayed here a few times before and will gladly come back!

Perfect house, EXCELLENT location

This house was absolutely perfect for our whole family. Plenty of space and it was SO nice for everyone to have their own bathroom. The location is incredible and only a mere 20 steps from the gorgeous beach! The house is also really close to several restaurants and walking distance to a convenience store. The only downsides are that no paper products are provided (not even toilet paper!) and the ice maker in the fridge doesn't work and the bikes available in the garage are pretty junky. Other than that everything was excellent!

Winter holiday

This house was perfect for a family celebration of 7 adults and two children. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the kitchen was well stocked. The house is a block from the beach with partial views from many windows and the various decks. There were beach bikes for the adults and sand toys for the children. Overall, an excellent experience.

Newport Beach

Overall the property is as expected. There were some weird anomalies. Like the rusted fixtures in the garden tub and the gross and dirty looking neck pillow in what was otherwise a clean bathroom. The upstairs heater wasn’t working either. The owners request to “start” the laundry to save time for his cleaning company was inconvenient. While this was my first vacation rental this was the only one I looked at with that request — which I didn’t know until after I reserved and made the down payment. While Mr Goodman both labels the bedding in a cabinet and provides a list of what bedding goes where in the rules, situating bedding for so many beds was very frustrating especially with late arrivals. It would be my suggestion to have two sets of sheets for each bed and to store them in the room with the bed they are meant for. My family had a great time and really enjoyed the beach and location. Being able to have the 14 of us under one roof for games and family time was awesome. You can’t ask for more than that.

The tub neck pillow has now been replaced and the cleaners are now making up the beds and they do all the laundry after your stay.
