This family-friendly home is full of relaxing spaces, with bedrooms laid out to provide privacy and comfort. Meanwhile, the lowest floor has been transformed into a game room, complete with foosball, a dartboard, and direct access to the furnished patio—making it the perfect hangout zone for guests of all ages. Added amenities include free WiFi and a private washer/dryer.

Lake Arrowhead is just under two miles from this home - as is Lake Arrowhead Village, perfect for guests who want to get in some shopping between trips to the lake. The View!!!

We had a great stay here! The house is super roomy and laid-back, simple, clean, and cozy without trying too hard. You get amazing lake views from pretty much every part of the house, whether you’re in the living room, kitchen, or out on the deck. It’s spacious, and having three full bathrooms made things super easy for our group. No one was waiting around, which we really appreciated. Our dogs loved it too! There’s a side area where they could handle their business, which made things super convenient. What we really liked was how comfortable and chill everything felt. No gimmick, just a solid, peaceful mountain home. And for the price per night, it’s honestly a steal!!

Between the clouds

It was my first time staying here and will definitely go back. My whole family had such a nice quiet and peaceful time. The views are amazing! We saw the lake in our fist day there there, we then experienced the rain and tiny bit of snow and even a couple of stellar jays. The house is fully equipped with utilities the only thing missing was a blender. I also have to agree with one of the other reviews about being able to hear the cars on the road if you stay in the lower level room but it’s not too bad. It’s really worth your stay.

Overall, it was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone. However, a couple of clinkers: 1. Dryer did not heat, so wet clothes had to be taken to laundromat for drying. 2. There were not enough trash bags in the house to the care of garbage. We made do with grocery bags, but garbage bags are cheap. We cook, so need for garbage bags. 3 There were also only 4 dishwasher pods, what's up with that? Is pod pilfering an issue? We washed some kitchen items in the sink, so not all was lost! Lovely area, great view. Wonderful place.!

Not what we expected

The house is in disrepair. The stairs from the parking area to the front door are falling apart and make the climb very nerve racking. The boards are breaking down and the paint is peeling so badly you could not hold the handrail when climbing the stairs. And when it comes to the stairs, holding a handrail would be optimum. The patio where the bbq is located is also in a terrible state of disrepair. You cannot walk on the boards without shoes for fear of getting a splinter. The biggest issue with this home is the misleading offer of lake access. You can gain access to the lake but the spots available for use are basically unusable. Upon arrival we paid $60.00 to the lake associations for access to the lake and found the spots on the lake so bad we opted not to use Arrowhead and went to Lake Gregory instead. The interior of the house was rather worn and the kitchen was not well stocked with kitchen items. Even simple items such as a drinking glass and mixing bowls were nonexistent. We asked other family to bring items from home to complete the needed items in the kitchen. I would never recommend this listing.

Such a Beautiful Getaway!

This place was such a wonderful choice for us. It was clean and spacious, and the view was priceless! We were very comfortable here and I am thankful to have been hosted on our trip. If we ever make another trip to the Lake Arrowhead area or have plans in San Bernardino, we know exactly where to book.

The photos do not do justice to the view this place has. The sun sets right over the lake. Outside of the views this place has everything you need, even a desk for remote work.

The upper deck

The house was livable and you can tell the owner tired to think of everything to accommodate. The upper deck was definitely the highlight of the house. Sun sets right there over the lake. Blue jays and woodpeckers flying around. More than enough shower towels and supplied soaps. Provided a little granola bar, bottle of water, house slippers & coffee packets, except we couldn’t find the coffee pot (even offered a reward to the kids for first to find it.) Heater worked great, downstairs master requires the fireplace to warm it up. Beds were comfortable. Showers were warm. A recent post stated there was only one pan & our visit had several. Must like walking stairs, bc there is a lot of them. Nice to have something the accommodated a family of 5+the pup. The road below the deck is busy so you hear the cars as you relax on the patio. Cleaning crew didn’t seem to clean the upper deck as there were food crumbs & spill marks around the fire pit. Not any household cleaner to self clean it, so we did our best with a paper towel & water. Also arrived to some spilled nacho/mac&cheese on the rug that the cleaning crew missed. We tied up and clipped the trash but something still got into it.

Must to willing to work on 30 high steps up and down everyday. My mom could not walk on this steps

Must risk your life to take 30 over steps to get to this house. All fire place run by gas and no instructions how to use it so we stayed cold. I called twice on this matter no one got back to me. I want my money back for ruined my vacation

Amazing place when you need to get away!

Needed a change of scenery and this home didn't disappoint! There's a wonderful view of the lake from the balcony, our family and pup enjoyed spending hours on the patio. House was very clean and welcoming upon arrival...I thought that the springtime video playing on the TV when we arrived was a really nice touch. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Cozy lake view getaway

Bright Moon was a cozy warm place to spend a couple of days in the snow. We really enjoyed staying there this past winter. We were concerned that it didn’t mention in the description that it had forced air heating throughout the house but we were so happily surprised to find it did! We were comfortable and warm inside while it was around 18 degrees outside! The lake views were beautiful and watching the storm come in over the water was exciting. Our dogs also enjoyed their stay with the highlight of being able to play around in the snowy yard. All in all it felt like a home away from home!

Some spiders and very warm but otherwise comfortable

The home is spacious and in a beautiful part of Lake Arrowhead. We would probably come back. There are three things we faced that may affect whether you want to stay here: (1) It was very warm while we were in Lake Arrowhead and there is NO central AC in this home, which was not stated in the listing when we booked the property. The issue does not affect the living room and master bedroom, as both rooms have very strong air conditioners. But it was extremely hot in the upstairs area of the home, including in both upstairs bedrooms. Vacasa brought over some standing fans shortly after we called for help. Those fans helped, but the nights were still uncomfortable. (2) There are a lot of cobwebs in the home. Most are on the ceilings and in the fans. We ran into a few spiders, as well, during our stay. (3) The staircase leading to the house is very steep. It was not a problem for us but just tread lightly and, if you are traveling with a person who has a physical disability, I suggest choosing another home. All that said, we had a lovely time. The beds are comfortable, the showers are clean and have good water pressure. The home has towels, which I think is unclear from the posting. Vacasa was responsive when we needed help with the cooling situation, even though the solution did not fully resolve the issue. And, again, the home was well furnished and comfortable. If you visit expecting the three things I mentioned above, I think you will have a lovely time.

Lake Arrowhead at Bright Moon

It was a great location and a very nice stay. It was roomy, clean, and a beautiful view of Lake Arrowhead. There is only one thing needed, to put a doorknob lock on the downstairs bathroom.

Great family stay with fur baby!

House had everything we needed, and a beautiful view!! We’ll definitely be back in the summer!! It’s great for families or even 2 small families. The stairs are a little steep and we’re a little icy due to the unexpected snowy weather. They do provide sleds which was great!! There is no cable but there are streaming services you can log into. Great place, can’t wait to come back!
