Welcome to Au Fil des Causses in Orniac (Lot, south-west France), in the heart of the Causses du Quercy Regional Nature Park and the Célé valley, close to the Pech Merle cave and Saint-Cirq-Lapopie.
The gîte
La Cazelle, a 4-star gîte sleeping 7: a 19th-century barn, fully renovated, all on one level, 90 m². Reversible air conditioning and fireplace with insert.
• 25 m² living area — fully equipped kitchen (large fridge with freezer compartment, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, espresso, filter and capsule coffee makers, toaster, kettle, crockery and utensils for 7), dining area, lounge (corner sofa, TV). Free wifi.
• 2 master suites, each with a shower room and toilet (two 90x200 cm beds, can be joined into a 180x200 cm double).
• 1 triple bedroom with bathroom and toilet (two 90x200 cm beds joinable into 180x200 cm + one 90x200 cm bed).
• Every bedroom therefore has its own shower room or bathroom with toilet.
• Bed linen and towels provided at no extra charge. Tea towels, cleaning products and basic condiments included.
• Private terrace, garden furniture, 2 barbecues (gas and wood).
The grounds (shared with the neighbouring gîte La Gariotte)
• 2 heated pools: large pool 9 x 5 m (1.40 m deep, safety roller cover) and small pool 4 x 6 m (1.20 m deep).
• Spa for 6-8 people.
• Outdoor games: football, volleyball, badminton, skittles.
• Converted barn with reception and games room: ping-pong (bats and balls provided), table football, billiards, darts. Tumble dryer available and undercover motorbike storage.
• Free parking. Garden and pool maintenance provided by the owner.
Good to know
• Minimum stay 2 nights (7 nights during the summer and Christmas school holidays).
• No pets (safety and hygiene).
• Optional: stocked fridge on arrival, based on a list agreed together.
