We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was well appointed and clean. The hot tub was private and in a large backyard. And it was so close to the beach! We'll be back!

The home was very clean and well taken care of. It had plenty of space, linens, and serviceware. The room with a twin daybed (and trundle) does not have a window and acts as a pass through to the primary bedroom. The hot tib was easy to use and appeared well maintained and clean. The beds were comfortable and linens were clean. The front living room has a pull out couch. If someone is using the pullout couch to sleep, I would recommend bringing a eye mask as the motion light went on and off throughout the night (likely critters or people walking down the street). The only thing that struck us as odd was the welcome email said that additional toilet paper, paper towels, and coffee filters were not supplied. We brought extra in case it was needed. It is a little baffling that the management would not supply these items as a standard practice. We checked out just a few minutes before the 11:00am mandatory checkout time. Around 10:50am, a man (we assume an employee of the management company??) came to the front door. We were waiting on the washer to finish so we could put the towels in the dryer before leaving. I’m not sure if he was watching or just arrived early. It was a little uncomfortable as we were not expecting him to be there.

The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We really loved the game room with a ping pong table, foosball, and darts. The backyard is private with a fire pit and hot tub. We loved watching the stars from the hot tub. Walk to the beach was five minutes but it’s very rocky at this part of the coast and it’s not easy to access but still great to look at tide pools and watch the sunset. Overall a wonderful place and would definitely go again.

Excellent home! Location was perfect steps to the ocean and town. The home was very well furnished and comfortable. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen. The beds were so comfortable. Nice added touch of standing fans around the home for airflow. The hot tub was wonderful along with the privacy of the yard. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect Yachats Getaway

Very clean, great location, all the necessities we needed for a relaxing beach getaway. The hot tub was hot and clean! We loved our walks along the ocean each day! Beds could have been a bit more comfortable but overall this was one of the best rentals we have stayed in on the Oregon coast over the past 20 + years! Highly recommend. :)

Cute House with a View

We enjoyed our stay. House is super cute and pretty clean overall. The beds were really comfortable as were the couches in the living room. Lots of seating and an extra large dining table. Kitchen is a tad small but very well equipped. We appreciated having a washer and dryer and we all loved the game room in the garage and the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to families and older adults.

Great time with family and friends

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cute cottage is in a great location to enjoy the charms of Yachats. We walked to town, to the market, the 804, to the beach...As others report, the home, hot tub and pretty, private yard is impeccably clean and very well maintained. One thing to note - to get from the main living area to the lovely, light and spacious primary bedroom, you must go through another bedroom, or use an exterior passage. Kitchen is extremely well equipped, with plenty of tableware and lots of unexpected extras. Overall, it was a very good rental - we were comfortable and had a great time! As usual, Ocean Odyssey (property managers) was great to deal with, thoughtful, profession and responsive - great folks!

Amazing back yard, cleanliness issues...

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay the house. The back yard fire pit and hot tub was the highlight for us. Ample parking and easy to find. The kitchen was well organized and the living room comfortable(albeit a very dirty and stained couch). We would prefer it to have been a bit cleaner, but the washing machine and dryer made it possible to clean the dirty comforters on the beds (they smelled very bad on arrival) and we put clean bed sheets over the couches. We had to buy our own detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, which we did not find out until the check in information was provided the day before arriving. The kitchen had a hodge podge of leftovers from previous guests(spices, foil, ziplocs), which was helpful. There's a dollar store around the corner so it was easy to find small essentials when needed. There's also a key to the house instead of a numbered keypad, which meant carrying the keys and worrying about losing them. It's the first time in a long time we've stayed somewhere requiring a physical key to enter a rental house. The managing company was friendly, but not particularly responsive. We had a bunch of ants visit in the kitchen the second to last night of our stay. There's a long list of to-do's before checking out. One that stood out was requiring us to launder & DRY all the towels PRIOR to checking out. That was a new one for us...

Nice home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice, comfy, homey place. We were a bit thrown to discover that you must walk thru one bedroom to get to the master bedroom. We also found some dishes were put away but had not been cleaned, floors needed cleaning, and my daughter pulled her sheets off to wash due to dog hair. It is a nice quiet neighborhood with great access to 801 trail.
