It was just what the girls needed. A clean spacious place to come to after hanging out with friends. It provides a home like quality. Great for resting and relaxation
We stayed at the Belle of Ball Street for our sons wedding weekend it slept our large family comfortably and had plenty of room for visiting. We especially enjoyed the front porch.!
Our family of 10 was able to make The Belle of the Ball Street our home for our stay. Everyone in our party was stunned at the beauty of the property and the quality of the amenities. The elegant and perfectly restored Victorian architecture swept us away into another world, while the modern amenities kept us grounded in ours. The hosts of the property are exceptionally hospitable, even when compared to other Vrbo hosts. One of our family members forgot their tuxedo at the property, and the hosts held onto it until we were able to pick it up. Considering our previous experiences with Vrbo properties, the hosts’ dedication to excellence and the guest experience is exceptional. Wonderful property and hosts, we will be staying again if we are in the area.
We had 9 in our party and this home was an excellent choice. Everyone had room to spread out and relax. The location in in a historic neighborhood and convenient to The Strand and Beach. The home was clean, quiet and comfortable.
The house is so beautiful inside and it has enough beds and communication with Rachel is super fast. Check in and out are easy and I would come back again and thank you so much to host us.
Our second stay at The Belle was just what we needed for our annual birthdays and Christmas gathering! This historic home is beautiful and comfortable. The owners provide detailed notes about the property along with thorough check-in/check-out guidance, and are quickly responsive with any questions that may arise. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking needs. And the front porch is wonderful for morning coffee!
Honestly amazing house full of great history. Very conveniently located and the owners were great about being flexible and providing lots of information for the surrounding area. Hoping to stay here again!

We're a family of five based in Austin-- Dad an administrative lawyer and business owner, Mom an advanced practice nurse, Kid 1 in college, Kid 2 in middle school, Kid 3 in 5th grade. We love to travel and try new things. Mom grew up visiting Galveston with her grandma; Dad's mom's family is originally from the island going back to before The Storm.
