Amazing forest views! Newly remodeled Northstar condo.. 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Plus large loft with queen. Short walk to the free shuttle & 1-2 minute drive to the Northstar Village. New carpet & tile flooring, new King tempurpedic in bedroom 1, new bunk bed in bed 2, & new queen in loft. New stainless steel appliances, gorgeous granite counters , etc. Living room has a large cozy couch and brand new 60"'LED smart tv & blue ray DVD player. Loft has a TV set up for DVDs . Well stocked kitchen with cooking utensils, pots,pans... Refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher, bagel toaster and coffee maker....Solid wood doors, bathtub,Nest thermostat ,
Just a short 1-2 minute drive to Northstar Village with restaurants, shopping, Gelato store, bars, ice skating, free S'mores, movie theater, recreation center and more!
Your stay also gives you access to gated private parking at the recreation center ($10 per person per day). Rec center includes workout gym, outdoor heated lap pool open year around, pool table, video games, and 3 large hot tub spas. Towels available there(fee).
Park in the private Indian Hills parking lot ( passes provided).
Enjoy roasting marshmallows in the village at the open fire pits with new heated cabanas by the ice rink.
Northstar is conveniently located off highway 267 , less than 10 minutes from Old Town Truckee with charming shops and eateries. Approx 15 minutes to Lake Tahoe or Donner Lake. Less than 10 minutes from the New Truckee Raleys grocery store and cafe.

Fabulous few days in the mountains

The condo was as described: cozy and the perfect place to spend a few days with our daughter visiting from the East. We loved the fireplace and watched movies every night. Checkin and communication with the owners was super easy!! Would stay again for sure.

As advertised and deserving of all its positive reviews. Clean, very comfortable, and nicely appointed! It would be an additional nice touch to have a drawer with a few cloth dish towels, a box of aluminum foil, and a few zip lock bags. Absent that, then perhaps just a heads up to bring these basics from home. Not a deal breaker by any means, just a suggestion. We’d not hesitate to stay here again.

Our group of 3 adults really enjoyed our stay. The upstairs loft space with bed is essentially a third bedroom. Proximity to Northstar was wonderful. Easy check in. Stocked kitchen. Very clean. Comfortable (fast hot water, efficient house heater, good wifi). Thank you!

1st trip to Tahoe

Owner was kind and very responsive. Condo was a quaint 2 bedroom, 2 small bath with cute kitchen. There are several places to sleep including a loft upstairs and a pull out bed in the small living area if needed. We loved the window sitting area that looked out to a forest view. They have lots of fans/ no AC (common). Wifi and TV access was great. Northstar pool/spa area was great, $10 a day pp. Northstar lacked food options, you need to go to Truckee for good food/coffee options. This condo is 15 min from Truckee (north) & 15 min to Kings beach (south). We would recommend this place more for winter than summer. Could use some beach towels, sand toys (we left some), & cooler. This condo does not have a washer and dryer, just don't miss that on the amenities list. We loved Lake Tahoe, so many beautiful things to see and do. Grateful for our time there.

Family of 5 enjoyed this impeccably clean, roomy, & well stocked property in a lovely & quiet neighborhood. Condo great for either togetherness or privacy, & you can use the porch as a quiet work area. Easy 15 minute drives to: Truckee for breakfast or dinner on Food Truck Thursdays, Lake Tahoe beach/Catamaran ride, & the Ritz Carlton (beautiful wedding!)

Amazing Memorial Weekend!

My husband and I along with our three teens stayed at the McGrath's beautiful home and we didn't want to leave. We enjoyed North Star a bit, ventured to South Lake for a day, and enjoyed our cozy place. Coffee in the morning on the balcony, cozy fires at night!! I highly recommend:-)

Perfect Home and Location

We recently stayed in this fantastic townhome as a home base for a portion of our Tahoe vacation. The home was well appointed and was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the NorthStar village, surrounding hiking trails as well as just relaxing and grilling on the deck. It was also equidistant to explore the town on Truckee as well as the Tahoe area. Would def recommend and stay again!

Great vacation home!

What a sweet place to spend some vacation time. This home is comfy and so nicely appointed. The spacious and modern kitchen has nice cookware and literally everything you'll need to cook with. We really got to spread out and, in addition to the two nice bedrooms, the lofted bedroom was a bonus for my stay-up-late teen. We'd come back and stay here in a second.
