The Lake House main level has cantilevered decks that connect the great outdoors to the vaulted great room. This spacious indoor & outdoor living filling the space with light and natural air. It's a great gathering space for cocktails & snacks as you cast your eyes upon the vast expanse of Lake Coeur d'Alene. Don't miss the colorful sunsets each night and stargazing while keeping cozy under the heat lamp. The Kitchen is a hub for gathering and planning the day's events.

The lake shore beach has a large fire pit with seating and has (2) flanking tiered decks to lounge about in the shade or bask in the sun. A cozy Cabana provides a good place to nap while listening to the lapping waves or grab a cold beverage and get changed in privacy. The floating dock safely harbors your watercraft and is the jumping off point to all your leisure adventures.

The open upper loft houses 2 semi-separate bedrooms with views of the lake & forest and a shared full bath. One side of the loft has 2 queen beds & 1 single bed in a shared space. The other side has 1 queen bed, 1 single bed and closet. The Master bedroom is on the main level with a full suite bathroom & laundry.

There is full garage attached to house and the driveway is shared with our neighbors. The driveway has a 35-degree descent from the road. There is also parking available off the main road.

Perfect Lake Getaway

This home is perfect for a lake-front getaway. Awesome views and easy access to the water from the private dock. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for larger groups. Perfect place to stay.

We had a perfect family get away with friends. The cabin is in an ideal location on the lake. It is well stocked and the beds are super comfy. Check in was super easy and Michele is a delightful, easy to communicate with host. We’re grateful for them sharing their family home.

We LOVED our stay here - the view was spectacular!

We had a great stay and spent the majority of our time outside taking in the beautiful views! We saw a few bald eagles fly by in the morning! We had quick responses for questions/issues so no complaints! Hope to stay there again~!

Wonderful Family Vacation Site

We had a wonderful experience with this property. The owners were very communicative and helpful from the beginning. The house was clean and had all great amenities. Amazing hospitality and location

Michele was a very accommodating and helpful host! We had our micro wedding at the gorgeous driftwood Lakehouse and it was a gorgeous location on the most beautiful weekend! Plenty of space and Michele was kind enough to allow us to utilize her families historic property! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice little getaway or to host a small gathering. Beautiful views and the cabin history is amazing as well!

Our families had such a lovely time at Michele’s cabin. It leaves you wanting for nothing, she had everything you could possibly need and more— most especially in the kitchen. The numerous refrigerators were sooo appreciated with all the food we brought for four families and nearly a weeks stay! We would absolutely stay here again. What a slice of heaven!!

Amazing experience!

We had a Labor Day family weekend at the Driftwood House property. The house and location were spectacular! We utilized the dock for our boat and enjoyed all the house had to offer! Thanks to property manager Michele, she was communicative and super helpful. We look forward to coming back next year!!

Amazing lake house/cabin

This place is great! The log cabin is stunning with a western themed design inside. Comes with everything you need and garage parking to keep vehicles secure. View of the lake is amazing and has a very nice dock and beach house to use for changing or hanging out for a day on the lake. The drive out is a little slow and windy once you get off I-90 but worth it, just stop by town for groceries before you get out there

A Great Lake Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying at this lake house. The host would quickly respond if we had any questions. The weather was a bit chilly so we did not get to enjoy much of the water activities. We did go hiking in the surrounding area. The kitchen was probably the most well stocked kitchen we have ever encountered with other VRBO's we have stayed at. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Girls weekend success!

This house is perfect for a big group or 2 families. We were a group of 10 adults all in our late 30s.We loved the space and enjoyed every minute of staying there. The decks and the dock were a highlight! Communication was amazing and they helped answer all my questions prior to our trip. 100% would recommend this to all! Driftwood Cabin - Lake Cda

This is a very rustic and cozy lake cabin with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The dock gives you top notch access to the lake. The main room and deck space on the main level are great for group meals and fun. In addition, there are many other areas for people to hang out and relax (lower deck, beach house, front deck area, upstairs loft, and basement). One thing to know is that the property is steep and lake access involves some stair climbing).
