Found out the day of our stay that the host had double booked the home, and we would not be able to stay there. The management company helped us "re-home" with another solution, which was very helpful. However, the added stress of communicating and arranging for a different home to stay in was very disappointing. In the end it turned out okay, but I believe that we should have been given a refund for our stay and hassle.

Unfortunately, the owner encountered a problem the day before. He didn't overbook, but had to perform emergency repairs at the property, which prevented him from accommodating guests. This is exceptionally rare, and the STAYINN VACATIONS agency was extremely responsive and professional in relocating the traveler, covering 100% of the additional cost, to a luxury hotel, which incurred an extra charge of 147,000 XPF and was arranged within xx hours. The traveler therefore benefited from accommodation in a 5-star luxury hotel at no extra cost. It is obviously not possible to pay for the replacement hotel and refund the original reservation. It was one or the other, and the agency chose the best option for the traveler and his group of 13 people.

Upgrades needed

This is a beautiful place but the facility is a bit run down. The kitchens lacked basic supplies such as pots and pans and dish washing supplies. In addition, one of the refrigerators was broken and the on demand hot water heaters didn’t work very well and so you would be surprised with cold water in the middle of your shower. Beautiful location and the owner was very responsive to our requests. There was a washing machine but the owner charged us to do laundry and there wasn't a dryer so your clothes had to hang out to dry.
