Beautiful low floor unit with incredible views of the islands, bay and marina. The Master bedroom is furnished with a king *tempurpedic* bed (guests always ask what it is so they can buy one because they sleep so good) and oversized chair that pulls out to a twin sleeper. There is also a twin rollaway bed in the closet that you are welcome to use (detailed as twin futon in listing). The master bath is spacious with a full size shower and separate oversized jacuzzi tub. The first guest bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and a twin futon the other has a king bed. Each bedroom has access to its own bathroom.

Amenities at the Caribe are second to none. Enjoy peace of mind at the resort with 24 hour security and a guard shack entry. It’s always voted as one of the top resorts in orange beach-it has multiple pools (including 3 indoor heated), multiple water slides, a lazy river, 9 hot tubs (both indoor and outdoor), an outside playground, putt putt areas, splash pad area, ping pong, fishing piers, fitness centers, dolphin cruises and boat rentals, the list goes on! All the sports courts you could think of-putting greens, basketball, tennis, pickle ball, bocce ball, corn hole. It’s on the bay side of the road only because the beach side of the road is protected so there are no buildings allowed to be built there. So I like to say the beach is in your front yard and the bay is in your backyard. There are no major roads to cross-only a private road that leads to our resort, our restaurant (voted one of the best in orange beach) and our marina. Or we have complimentary trolleys (think oversized golf carts) that will take you to and from the beach as often as you like. Private cabanas, tiki bar and on site coffee bar too!

The lazy river was a huge disappointment because it is only 1.5 feet deep and didnt really move much, the kids normally love lazy river pools and were upset about that but there were plenty of other pools to swim in and right next to bay which was so pretty

What's not to like

Bay front views really fun. Property a virtual water park. Reasonable walk to beach if you can pull yourself away from marina rental toys and Cobalt, a superb family friendly restaurant. Unit is nicely equipped and maintained with everything we needed. Remarkable decorative and wall art. Comfortable furniture and beds. What's not to like?

Amazing

I know we will be back!! This place has everything you need for an amazing beach vacation. The view is amazing, was able to sit on my patio and watch dolphins in the bay. I was in love with all the art work on the walls. The place was so spacious, clean and the kitchen has all the gadgets you could need. The pools, which you have a few to choose from are clean and very relaxing, we were either in one of the pools or the lazy river. Contact with owner was always easy. Fast response and very helpful. We will definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later! Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with me and my family.

Had the best time with my family! Great location. Everything is so close and convenient if you have to run to the store, gift shop, beach, and restaurants. The condo was very spacious and perfect if you're bringing a larger group! We brought small children and the pools on site were a hit! We were sad we didn't get a beach facing balcony until we got there and saw the marina and it was just as beautiful. The boats passing were so cool to watch. We saw dolphins every morning and the sunset every night. We will be returning! The owner Allison was very attentive and punctual to any/all of our needs. If there were questions or issues we ran into she was there to solve them asap! In the past we haven't experienced that kind of courtesy so it was refreshing! Can't wait to come back!

Not good at all

The condo had gnats and fruit flies all in the kitchen … when contacting the manager was told there was nothing they could do about it because the previous tenants didn’t tell them abt it until they left .. and it was a backed up garbage disposal … I myself tried no bar to clear them up .. it did not work … so then I look under the sink and it is leaking all over the cabinet .. that I cleaned up myself and notified manager also … then the outdoor furniture was filthy.. and there was mold all in the washer .. very disappointed not to have been compensated for any of my stay with all these problems we had …

I’m not going to lie, this review really broke my heart. I’ve got 7 units and among the 99 reviews for all of them I’ve never had one negative thing said about my customer service. I really pride myself in customer service. I would never tell a guest there was nothing I could do. As soon as I was notified of any fruit flies (before your arrival) I had someone out there and within 2 hours of being informed, the situation was diagnosed (backed up coffee grounds in garbage disposal) and it was cleaned out. I hoped all would be well now that we knew what was causing the flies and had hoped they would be dispersed by your arrival several hours later. The next morning you reached out that they were in fact not gone and so I googled home remedies to try and see what might help and told you we would cover any costs for any supplies that we could come up with that might try and deter them away or kill them. You also said that there was a leak below the sink after they messed with the disposal. I called someone up to the unit right away and we just went ahead and replaced the entire garbage disposal. I checked in with you before 8AM the next day to see if things had improved at all. The cushions for the outdoor furniture are cleaned by hand twice a year and the second clean is always after the busy season ends (Labor Day) and your reservation was a Labor Day reservation. The washing machine is a front load washer and they tend to mold if the door is not cracked open to air out every now and then like top loaders. The picture you sent showed mold under the seals. In our efforts to go above and beyond we also clean them out twice a year personally. This unit is owner managed and I can assure you, as all of my other reviews can attest to, we go above and beyond to try and keep the unit as nice as possible for our guests, as at the end of the day it is our home and not just a management property. I tried to do everything possible to remedy the situation and even offered you a full refund on day 2 of your stay if you wanted to leave, which you declined. At the end of your stay you asked for a $500 refund. We did not think that the circumstances warranted that and instead gave a refund equal to a one night stay.

Wonderful Holiday Getaway

We recently stayed at Allison’s condo in building ‘B’ of the Caribe for Thanksgiving. The unit was decorated for the holidays which was a lovely touch that made it feel like home. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed - more so than any other rental we have stayed in. It was very helpful when preparing our holiday meal. The condo was clean and comfortable. The walls are filled with incredible local art. There are plenty of pillows and blankets. The closet is large enough for a rollaway bed and my toddler loved sleeping in his secret room. The location is excellent. It is on the second floor and it has great views of the bay. The balcony has comfortable and clean furniture. We sat for hours watching dolphins swim by, pelicans perched on posts, fish jumping in the water and lots of other wildlife. We spent most of our time at the indoor pool but the staff happily took us over to the gulf for short trips to play in the sand. The Caribe exterior is undergoing some renovations during this off season so I expect it will be looking refreshed in time for Spring Break. The renovations did not impact our stay in anyway. Lastly, Allison was incredibly accommodating regarding our request for a late checkout. Checkout at 10 was right in the middle of our baby’s nap and Allison more than willing to let us take our time getting out the door without interrupting nap time. I made the request late the evening before checkout and Allison immediately responded. Therefore, communication was 100%. I would recommend staying at this condo. You will be glad you did.

Great Condo with AWESOME view!

Great property…..once inside. LOVE all of the local artwork owner has displayed. Felt very comfortable immediately. Owner was very quick to respond with request for early check in, as well as a concern we had with the fridge. Fridge ended up being just fine but what impressed us most was the owner responded within seconds of my text. Owner was certain to make sure all was ok. I did have to clean our shower once settled in. I think because it wasn’t cleaned. There was a small snafu with the shower head before checking in and I have a feeling the repairman was present during the same time the cleaners were there. Entire condo looked great except for primary bathroom shower. A little dismayed with the amount of work that needs to be completed around the complex. Ie: putting green, exterior paint and basic clean up in and around the facility, to include elevator that was hardly ever working . It was the elevator that brought you to the lazy river. Would breakdown every afternoon…. VERY frustrating. Also, there were random abandoned carts throughout exterior of Caribe that were filled with random tools and pieces of lumber that indicated attempts of some sort of repair but were left and repairs (what ever they were) were not achieved. All in all great condo UNIT!! Would stay here again BUT would like to see Caribe HOA get the exterior looking “alive” & “clean” again.

We enjoyed our stay at Caribe. The unit was beautiful with a nice view of the marina. We enjoyed the balcony and indoor pool (too cold for outdoor). Allison was in communication with me and offered an early check in. The cleanliness of the unit stood out the most! Kitchen had everything you could need. Beau full view in we'll-equipped spacious condo

This spacious condo was a fabulous headquarters for our family reunion. The view of the busy waterway is always interesting and beautiful. It was great to have 3 bathrooms and the bedrooms were large and comfortable.
