Comfortable beds, had many amenities we needed, great to stretch out in a house that was big enough for all of us.

Honest review - check in process was easy - property manager was responsive - House was adequate for our needs with pretty nice beds working shower and was fairly clean place nothing of great concern for a group of buddies on a hunting trip…but our wives would probably have been upset. Sadly it’s missing many simple items that leave the experience incomplete - I literally had to go buy skillets and baking pans and utensils so we could use the full kitchen and make food in/on the stovetop and range …none of those were provided - no can opener either …. There are clearly some floor stability issues that have been covered over by laminate flooring and the tv worked well as a streaming device but the picture on the TV is failing - turning everything blue - attempted to solve this issue by adjusting the picture settings but didn’t have any luck improving the picture … that said for a similar trip I would stay here again for the value provided
My family came into town for a funeral and all met and stayed just for one night. Definitely cheaper than if we had 3/4 hotel rooms. Old house but good enough for a nights sleep.

The old house was charming. It could benefit from a really good, deep clean. The bathrooms and beds/linens were very clean and the kitchen was functional. We didn't use the outdoor area but it was nice and well suited to a comfortable place to hang out on a nice day. The town has food and necessity shopping available and easily accessible. Overall we were pleased with our overnight stay.
Our stay was just a quick rest-stop on a long road trip. We arrived late and left early. I wish I would have had more time to enjoy the yard games and appreciate that these were available. Everyone in our party enjoyed a restful night stay. We especially liked having air coolers in each room, as everyone is a little picky about the best sleeping temperature.
Well where do I begin, the kitchen was not equipped to cook meals. We had to purchase pots and pans to allow us to cook meals. There were no plates, very little silverware and overall, The place was dirty. The bedroom next to laundry had a broken bed. There was only about 5 gallons worth of hot water. The trash was not picked up and we were there a week. There was only 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper for a weeklong stay. There were no trash bags except the one in the can. There were no cooking utensils. The flooring was new but, there were holes in the floor underneath. Multiple times, I emailed Parker to call me and he had his housekeeper call instead. Our problems were not resolved when we made him aware via email. WE WILL NOT BE USING THIS HOME AGAIN, nor recommend it to anyone.

Not enough wash clothes, towels and no hand towels. Drawers broke in kitchen and dish washer door out of alignment. It was very dirty with dead flies and bugs everywhere. And home was infested with some sort of Beatle bug.

I don’t like to give bad reviews but when it’s this rough, I must. Many many issues. Prior to booking, I make it clear we were there to celebrate Thanksgiving and would have family there for the day and would like to use this home for future visits. Upon arrival to the house, the heater in the living room did not work. It appeared the house had not been cleaned in a while. Dust everywhere, even mouse droppings in kitchen drawers. There were “for sale” signs in the yard, so I wondered if that is why there was a lack of care for the house. I communicated with the host, but no help. The kitchen was nearly empty of any cooking utensils. Not even a can opener of any kind. The refrigerator made a very loud and annoying sound when it kicked on. However, I was thankful it worked. We did not have our family over. Very disappointing and will NOT stay there again or recommend it.

Property owner did not communicate. We did not get codes to get in the house and had to book elsewhere. I have not been able to get a refund. I would not recommend.
As I have already written, the beds upstairs were in good condition, however my husband has Parkenson's and all the beds were too high for him. So we had to sleep in the living room hideabed. Getting to it was an extremely dirty proposition. Also it wasn't very comfortable which prompted us to have to sleep out of the house we paid for. Also we ended our stay there a day early.
We were in town for a family birthday and the size of the space was perfect for us. 6 adults and 1 child and we were all able to sleep in actual beds. Beds were comfy and linens were clean and fresh! The property manager was easy and prompt to communicate with us.
