Escape to the mountains in this newer, Non-Smoking, three bedroom plus loft, beautifully furnished, log home in Breckenridge, Colorado. Located just 5 minutes (1.5 miles) from downhill skiing, and walking distance to hiking, mountain biking, and cross country ski trails. We have large screen TVs, Huge video library appropriate for all age groups in the living room and loft. Private outdoor hot tub
We have a fully applianced kitchen with granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, heated slate tile floors, small appliances, including a Keurig, and huge island/snack bar.

Where else in North America can you experience four world-class ski resorts, all within the same county and within minutes of one another. Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin Ski Resorts offer skiing and snowboarding from mid-October to May.

Winter or summer, Breckenridge has so much to offer. Enjoy yourself in the outdoor private hot tub. Perfect mountain retreat

My family and I really enjoyed our short stay at this cabin. It has everything you need for a relaxing mountain getaway. The views from the neighborhood tails are breathtaking. The cabin is conveniently located just a short drive from downtown and the ski resort. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Breck Ski Week

We had a great week skiing at Breckenridge. The log home was fantastic, in great condition and tastefully decorated. We had room for two vehicles in the garage and visitors in the drive. We cooked our meals here and the kitchen was well equipped. Tom and Kris thanks for opening your home to guests. We've been coming to Summit County for 20 years and this was a memorable home.

Fantastic Stay

Fantastic Log Cabin in the Hills

Fantastic location close to the Ski Resort and beautiful neighborhood. We felt spoiled. The large wood accents were so fun and gave us a warm cozy vibe with plenty of space. Your definitely out of the city and can relax. The appliances are top notch, we were also impressed with the well stocked kitchen. Enjoy!

Perfect quiet getaway!

This house was perfect for a week-long getaway! I took a week vacation while my husband worked remotely for the week - with just the two of us, we had plenty of room to spread out; he was able to use the upstairs loft as an office for the week, while I hung out downstairs. The location of the property was a great location for hiking - I was able to walk out the door and take my pup on walks up to Peaks 6 and 7. It was also a short drive to town. The house was super clean, and was stocked with everything you needed. My husband loved getting in the hot tub for evening soaks in the crisp fall weather. We also happened to be up there during peak leaf season - which was an added bonus! I'd definitely stay here again.

Cozy cabin! Great location!

Great house - pictures do not do it justice! Fabulous location - close to slopes and great walking trails. Fully stocked kitchen and great hot tub to relax in after day of skiing.

Had plumbing issues owner refused to repair until after weekend had to move to hotel Got a threatening call that I would be evicted Have rented from VRBO for about 7 years They did help us find a hotel until plumbing issue solved Most stressful vacation ever!

Mountain Moose Cabin

Had a great stay at this Breckinridge cabin. Really liked that the kitchen was stocked with everything needed for a large group. Cabin is in a beautiful and private section of Breckinridge and was very comfortable for a five night stay. Garage parking and clean hot tub helped for the cold and snowy nights and mornings.

Winter Wonderland!

We’ve been home for less than 12 hours and our son is already begging to go back! We had an amazing 6 days! The cabin is beautiful, in the perfect location and had everything we could possible need or want! We’re making this down as our favorite family vacation, we will 100% be back!

Great Location & Quality Property

Excellent property. This is the second time we’ve rented in Breckenridge for vacation. If you have a big family and want to be in the mountains we’re you can see wildlife (moose and deer) peak 7 and this property is perfect. Also close proximity to family friendly hiking trails.

Great Cabin at Breckenridge

We stayed here with another family for a week in late winter. Loved the full kitchen and fully functional entertainment center. Private hot tub was also great. We’d defiantly stay there again.

Dog friendly, cozy cabin

Overall the cabin was great. It is cozy but spacious enough for 13 people to include 4 adults and 4 teenagers. The kids and the adults loved the hot tub right off the back porch. It was a great way to relax after a day on the slopes. The kitchen had all the pots, pans and slow cookers to cook every meal. While the pull out beds were a bit uncomfortable, the cabin was perfect for our group which included multiple dogs. Things to consider: It is close to Breckenridge resort, but there is no bus service by the cabin so parking becomes more of an issue when skiing. It is also on a dirt road that can get icy/snowy so I’d recommend a four wheel/all wheel drive.

Wonderful time in this beautiful mountain retreat.

We rented the house for a few days in January. It was exactly how it is described on the VRBO site. It was clean, spacious, very equipped, warm, cozy, well maintained. The driveway was cleared of the snow early morning so we were able to get out of the house, the spa was clean and well maintained by the company. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The instructions to check in and out are very clear and simple. It is definitively a house we would rent again. The owners are very welcoming and everybody in our party felt at home.

Moose Mountain Delight!

We arrived on December 23rd to a decorated house that was warm, and inviting. The first thing my 3 granddaughters did was jump in the spa. It was 17 degrees out but they loved it as the water was 100 degrees. The bedrooms are cozy and decorated just what you would expect for a beautiful Log Cabin. Moose and bear quilts on the walls and beds. Everything was perfect! I really wanted to see moose but was told by the sleigh driver at Two Below Zero that they were not in Breckenridge area in winter. Only Fall and Spring. My three granddaughters saw my face fall and went to bed so upset. They decided to say a prayer for moose to come to their Nonni. Next morning as we drank coffee and looked out the window, low and behold 3 female moose came into our yard. One came within 2 feet of our window. A dream come true for a grandma and her three girls. What a wonderful Christmas.

Beautiful log home nestled in the heart of mother natur

Great log home, fully stocked, even spices ( I always bring mine) that was a nice surprise. Great hot tub after our long hikes near Breck. Great size rooms & very comfy! Great to a garage 2- to park your vehicle. The owners are very responsive to any questions. Easy access to Beck , Frisco & Dillion activities.

Beautiful log home getaway. Close to everything Breckenridge has to offer

We have stayed in many properties but this house absolutely feels like home. Beautiful lodge furnishings. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen has all the appliances, pots, pans, crockpots, and even a Keurig. They also have a huge drawer filled with spices to cook just about anything for your family. The hot tub is amazing. They also have MANY DVDs for all age groups, children's books, puzzles, etc. Will definitely stay here again!

The property was beautiful and was exactly what we expected from seeing the pictures.

Our family of 4 and 2 Beagles had the pleasure of staying the week before Christmas. The house was decorated for the Holidays and that was a very nice touch. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, and really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of skiing. Location was a short drive to town and skiing areas. We would definitely stay here again!

Log home with great access

Beautiful, quiet and ideally located property.

Beautiful home and area. We couldn't have asked for more. Clean and well maintained home. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements for all 10 of us. The owners supplied everything (except food) we could possibly need - down to things to do in the area. The house was only minutes from Breckenridge and the drive was spectacular. We started every morning on the front deck hoping to see wildlife (we saw chipmunks, squirrels, a hummingbird and then finally my son saw a moose). The scenery was beautiful. We had only one problem occur the morning we were leaving - the hot water heater broke. We called Tom (the owner) and he had someone at the door to repair the heater within one hour - now that's service. Thanks Tom and Kris for lending your beautiful home to us - we truly enjoyed it. Relaxing, Comfortable and Beautiful

We stayed at Kris and Tom's beautiful cabin right at the end of May and had wonderful weather. The cabin was very comfortable, spacious, and felt very cozy. The kitchen was well stocked allowing us to make many lovely meals. We thoroughly enjoyed the space we all had as we had 7 people and our dogs. We sat in the hot tub for hours and hiked many of the trails up above the property. It was so nice to be super close to town but also feel closer to the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed biking to Frisco and up Boreas Pass as well as getting crepes in town and reading by the river. Tom and Kris keep the cabin very clean, organized and comfy. The master bedroom is huge and the master tub very delightful to sit in. And the tv and fireplace made it easy to watch a good movie or read a book near the fire. We would definitely recommend this cabin and hope to go back in the future!

We currently live in Wisconsin, but Breckenridge is definately our second home. We first visited Breckenridge as a timeshare exchange back in 1990 and absolutely fell in love the the town and all its activities and charm. We enjoy hiking, running, snowshoeing, and nature. We decided to buy some land and build a home for our entire family to enjoy

Why they chose this property

We decided to build our log home in 2002 to have a place for family and friends to visit. Because we are huge animal lovers, we decided on a home instead of a condo so we could bring our dogs with us to Breckenridge. We love the location, being so close to skiing and one block from hiking and only a short distance to town.

What makes this property unique

We looked at several floor plans before building our home and wanted a very open floor plan, which we have. Our living room, dining room, and kitchen are all one massive room with the open loft overlooking this area. We also wanted a first floor master suite for our family, friends, & guests, who may have a problem climbing stairs
