This spacious second-floor studio has on-site parking, private entrance w/deck, queen-sized bed, bathroom w/shower, kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator. Sit on your deck or at the kitchen table and enjoy the tranquility Maine has to offer. Roku TV and internet are available.
Kayaking, canoeing, (kayaks and canoe available for free on site) fishing, and snowmobiling with trails connecting to ITS 84 and 82 are just outside the door. Private boat landing is available for your use.
We are one hour from beautiful Acadia National Park on Mt. Desert Island and one hour from majestic Baxter State Park in Millinocket. We are 30 minutes from the Penobscot Narrows Bridge (tallest bridge observatory in the world) and historic Fort Knox in Prospect. And there are miles of local hiking trails closer to home.
Bangor and Brewer are the twin cities of Penobscot county and are just a short drive away. They offer museums, shopping, a casino, great restaurants, bakeries, farmer’s markets, local breweries and pubs in vibrant downtowns.

The Hermon Pond Studio is a clean, comfortable, and quiet place to stay. The location and scenery is absolutely breathtaking. An all around awesome place to stay. Will definitely stay there again on next trip to Maine.

Very nice studio, secluded, but close enough to Bangor and surrounding activities!
We had a very nice 2 day stay. Clean, comfortable and spacious accomodations in a great location. Sonya was a great host and I would not hesitate to stay there again.
