All was great! Bed was a bit hard. One thing just to let you know, the lock wouldn’t lock on the door. It was open when we arrived. We finally figured it out but you may want to check that.

Great spot for families

This is a great place, just a little ways south of downtown Kona area. The big oceanfront pool was great for the kids and adults alike. A nice and peaceful location.

Casa de Emdeko is a lovely place to stay. The lanai for this unit overlooks a beautifully landscaped courtyard with a fountain, and it provides a glimpse of the ocean through the palms. There is a small "beach" on the ocean end of the complex with lounge chairs but no umbrellas. The cabana structure and the lobby area offer seating with shade and ocean breezes. We particularly liked to spend time in the saltwater pool after a day of exploring. The condo was comfortable and relatively soundproof. The kitchen met our needs for breakfast and lunch prep. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a big plus. Finding a parking spot within the gated area was a challenge in the evening, so we ended up parking outside the gate in the lot for the adjacent commercial building much of the time (which is allowed). If you are staying more than a few days, be aware that you will only receive a "starter kit" of basics such as dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent, and toilet paper, so you may need to buy more. Also, you will need a Spectrum account if you want to stream any programs. All in all, a great place to stay.

Immaculate clean little condo in a great condo complex has everything one needs for a great time on the island. Salt water pond is gorgeous, and sunset views from the little "beach" are great.

Our condo at Casa de Emdeko was great! We really appreciated the air conditioning, the garden and partial ocean view, the man-made beach right on the ocean, the big table on the balcony, and more. We really wanted to stay somewhere that we could see the ocean and the sunsets without having to cross a street, and this was the perfect place. It was very clean and comfortable. Finding it and getting into the condo were super easy, although there were lots of different emails and texts from different companies that made finding information a little confusing at times. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at Casa De Emdeko 222! The condo was clean beautifully decorated and had everything we needed as far as cooking supplies. I loved the little multi spice shaker with a few extra spices besides salt and pepper. The coffeemaker was lovely with the insulated pot. We could have used one more laundry pod because we didn’t realize we needed to start the towel load before we left but we got it all ready to go. It was nice that there was a blow dryer and straightener and lots of mirrors there. The water filter jug worked well! We were out on the deck a lot and the shades worked well! The TV on demand didn’t work part of the time but we watched very little tv and the DVD’s were a good backup. The best part is the saltwater pool overlooking the ocean and the sand palm tree beach area protected from the waves! Gorgeous and shaded by palms if you wanted with lounge chairs. The two sling floaties worked really well and we didn’t use the snorkel equipment because of the storm and we brought our own but we saw it there in the closet. Air conditioning worked great and we had power the whole time despite the storm. I would love to come back one time when it’s sunny (apparently this kind of storm hasn’t happened in 30 years but it happened my first time in Hawaii ) we weren’t sure if we needed a parking tag so we didn’t use one but others had one in their car windows so please clarify.

The property was exactly as advertised. There was a minor cleaning issue when we arrived but the management company promptly made it right. They went above and beyond and even helped us figure out why the internet wasn’t working for a few hours (internet company outage). Such a relaxing property with a beautiful property beach and pools. Everything was clean and the complex is quiet. Every evening residents gather at the shore to watch the sunset and blow through conch shells. You will not be disappointed.

Casa De Emdeko 222 2025

Beautiful surroundings, great location and easy to get to restaurants, the beach, farmers markets and more. Casa De Emdeko has a manmade beach next to the ocean and has beautiful landscaping which can be enjoyed from a private lanai. Having breakfast on the lanai as the sun comes up and listening to the chirping birds was such a joy! The condo was surprisingly very quiet during the day and night. The long-term residents have a lovely sunset ritual they perform nightly saying goodnight to the sun as it sets by blowing their conch shells. Be sure to take this in! Beautiful! To the owners of 222: I would recommend adding curtains to the bedroom window, since the Venetian blinds have fairly large gaps along the sides, which allows anyone to see inside the bedroom. I would also recommend adding a small container of pepper and cinnamon to your cupboard's supply. For people who stay longer as I did, adding more garbage bags would be helpful, since renters are supposed to empty the garbage daily, and a couple more detergent pods would be helpful, too. Thank you for the nice supply of beach toys, chairs and snorkeling equipment. Much appreciated!
