The Space:
Originally built in about 1879 as an Ice Cream Saloon and Billiards Parlor, this commodious 3-story building with its extravagant wooden ornamentation, boasting a corner turret and dome, was influenced by the Queen Anne style. In 1886, Mr. Charles Auguste Orleans, purchased the house where he and his family resided. Today we see The Orleans House's façade restored to its original beauty, the entirety of the home has been extensively and lovingly upgraded by masters of their craft, while incorporating modern conveniences throughout and respecting the home the Orleans family enjoyed more than 130 years ago.

Excellent House. Perfect accommodations for groups looking to enjoy Nola city proper or surrounding areas. Great kitchen and pool/outdoor area. Historic beauty provides memorable visit.
The house was beautiful! Exceptionally well taken care of, beautifully positioned just outside the french quarter and it was super easy to get INTO the French Quarter, but not so close that we felt unsafe. I was a little nervous about street parking for our cars, but tucked back on the side road they were untouched. Had some AC issues, but owner was extremely attentive and communicative and helpful. All in all, a wonderful experience!!!
We could not have had a better weekend. Made a large group of six couples, all friends from high school. The size of the house, the number of bedrooms each with their own individual bathroom, made the house perfect for our stay. The cleanliness, the decor, and the house itself went well beyond expectations. After the long days in the quarter, the pool was a great respite to wind up the day before going to bed and starting all over again. This house could not be any better. Check-in was perfect and flawless, and management was exceptional.

The home was beautiful and well appointed. Communication with our host was quick and easy. Check in check out procedures were simple and clearly stated. Would highly recommend to anyone with a big group. The common spaces were great and the kitchen table was a huge hit for everyone to hang out and spend time together.
Great house with tons of space for a large group. Each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom which was great for our group of 16.The host was super communicative and handled every small issue that arose. They were even able to help us with a place to store bags after checkout!Worth noting: hot water takes a minute to reach the showers. Be patient and youll have all the hot water you could need.
16 of us stayed very comfortably in this lovely home for 3 days and had a great time. Common rooms were spacious and beds were comfy and each bedroom had its own bathroom. The pool area was a big hit. Instructions for the dishwasher would have been helpful as it’s a brand we weren’t familiar with.
The home was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. The owners/property reps were super responsive and helpful. We didn’t have hot water at first, but they did everything they could to immediately rectify the situation.

We rented this house for our large group and the host was great, pool was amazing, although we were only able to use it one day because it got cold. The rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable. Having a bathroom in every room was great as well!

My group had an amazing vacation and everyone was very impressed by the house! Comfortably fit my group of 15 and house was in a great location not far from the Main attractions in NOLA. Host had great communication throughout the entire process. Pool was a bit smaller than we were expecting, but it was still nice for cooling down! Overall, we would definitely stay here again!
This house comfortably slept 14 of us for a long weekend and could have easily slept 16 without ever feeling cramped. The quality of the house was even better than the pictures and the pool was a necessity given the July temperatures, and we were very close to the French Quarter.
Lastly the host was very responsive to my emails throughout our stay. I’d recommend this listing to anyone visiting.
So as usual, most VRBO’s in New Orleans have wonderful uniqueness and this one did not disappoint. After dealing with a few items, we settled in very nicely and it was smooth sailing. Landlords were very attentive every step of the way on this one. Location is a bit of an “island” just outside the FQ, but position was beneficial. Lots of stairs it using all the bdms. Kitchen, BBQ, Towels and linens were top notch. We had fun!
I stayed here with a group of 11. The house fit our group well. We didn’t have a chance to utilize the pool, but it looked clean. The house is by itself on a block, which is nice because we weren’t too concerned about making noise. There isn’t much around the house, so you’ll need to ride share to your destination. The house is located on a busy street right next to a hospital, so you might have trouble sleeping if you’re a light sleeper.
The dark room that appears to be the Master Suite is extremely hot and the peeling paint needs to be addressed. The vent in the front right 2nd floor bedroom...facing the house blew directly in my face and now I
