I moved back to Jamaica in 2021 after being in the States for over 20 years. I was born in Mandeville, Jamaica and lived between there and Treasure Beach. Best of both worlds, the mountains and then the Caribbean Sea. My great-grandfather Mr Dicker, came to to Jamaica in the '30s and built the first hotel on this side of the island. The Treasure Beach hotel. He later named the bays, Treasure Beach in 1934. Family history and culture is a mainstay in my heart.
All the while, I love meeting people and learning new cultures as much as possible.
After working in property management for over 10 years, I've decided to make my own way and build a new life in Jamaica. Now, my favorite things to do when I have time is take out my camera and collect memories through my lens. I also enjoy event and wedding planning and home design. I'm a woman of many hats.
I hope to meet you soon!
Why they chose this property
Treasure Beach is a laid-back fishing village made up of five bays. In the 30s my great grandfather Mr. Dicker came to visit Frenchman's Bay and stated that this area was a treasure amongst people and places. Hence where the name Treasure Beach originated. The locals are friendly and the climate is dry and warm almost like a desert meeting the sea.
What makes this property unique
This home was built from the ground up with love. I was inspired to design the home off of Grecian and Cali vibes. Crisp cool white walls to keep the heat at bay, deep pops of colour, eco materials and hand made pieces. Perfectly nestled on family land in close proximity to the beach. Can't go wrong with love, views and location!
