Schwartz Reunion in Hallettsville, TX

Wonderful Home

We loved our stay in Shiner at the Derrich Domov house. Great location for the Spoetzl Brewery and vineyards (we went to Majek's Vineyard & Winery for a crawfish boil - so fun.) Cindy, our host, was exceptional. We hope to stay there again when we head back to Shiner.

We were a group of friends enjoying bands and beers at the Shiner Brewery. The house was perfect. We sat on the porches and visited. The furniture is beautiful, beds are comfortable. Perfect.

I could not more highly recommend this house. I was looking for a place stay and wanted to visit the brewery in Shiner. The manager Cindy was helpful and friendly, the house was so much more then the advertisement. Good location everything was in walking distance.

Amazing house!

We had an amazing stay in this house. The owners were very accommodating to our situation. We were 2 parents taking a group of 9 band leaders to a 2 day leadership conference. We stayed for 1 night and we all loved the house. It was set up perfectly for a group of teenagers. All the girls stayed upstairs and the boys downstairs. This IS the place to stay in Shiner!

Short & Sweet

We regret only having one night in the area, but we will be back since we have family nearby to visit. The property is beautiful and perfect for those who love history (Dr. Pepper’s furniture!!), and don’t plan to “lounge” in the house all day (plenty of room for meals or game night- not suited for sitting around all day). The entire property is beautiful, also, with other spaces for smaller groups, I believe.

Fantastic house for couples!

We are The Crazy Eight. We are four adult couples that love to take weekend getaways. This house is amazing. Very old and full of antiques, but everything is functional and exactly what you would expect a Victorian house to be. We love our friends, but nobody wants to share a bathroom… the best part of this house is, every bedroom has its own bathroom. We just loved our very brief 2 day stay. All of us wish we had more time. But there’s always a next time!! Thank you Cynthia for amazing and quick response times on any communication.

Shiner Getaway

This was a beautiful home and property, very peaceful with games and activities that can be enjoyed. Went on the Shiner Brewery tour which we highly recommend. Cindy was a great host and while you’re there visit her nursery across the street.

Great spacious house to fit my family. There were many memories created in this house!

On site manager to help with any concerns if there would be. Great area with the view of the brewery from the front porch. An antique feel that definitely took you back in time. My family will try to make this stay a tradition.
