Everything was excellent and much better than we had expected. Our only issue was that VRBO did not make it clear that we would be let into the property by the property manager which was so much nicer than having a key or code to deal with.

Beautiful location and house.

Great communication during the rental process. Owners met us on premises and took time to show us around and tell us about the area. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property.

Great location to explore Cotentin Peninsula and southern Normandy

Out stay was perfect. Nothing to complain. Nicole is a very nice host and welcomed us with some homemade goodies. The house is situatied in a absolutely calm area, just a few km away from Coutances and perfect sandy beaches, and located centrally e.g. to explore Cotentin, Mont Saint Michel, Granville or also Bayeux. If you look for a quiet spot in a typical Nomady farmhouse, we can fully recommend this one.

Lovely stay but much too short

This cottage is lovely, very well equipped, spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. The fire was roaring when we arrived which was a real treat for us and the dog. Nicole is very hospitable and treated us to some homemade jam and cider as well as brioche - all of which were unexpected and delicious. In our short stay, we have appreciated the walking, the seaside, the market at Hauteville and the tranquility of not doing anything. Thanks for everything, we will be back.

Family trip in the Easter Holidays

We had a great week staying in this lovely cottage. The children especially loved the big garden. The house was very clean and peaceful . We found lots of lovely walks and places to visit in the area. The only issue we had is that the VRBO listing suggests the house has a hot tub, which it doesn't but this seems to be a problem with the VRBO site and is not the owners fault, of course the children were a bit disappointed!

Perfect holiday

Our stay was great. We enjoyed it very much. The house is even more beautiful than in the pictures. The house and the great garden, everything is arrangend with much taste and love to detail.The hosts are super friendly and even helped us to book a riding trip for our daughter. There are several beaches that you can reach within 10 to 15 minutes by car. The surrounding landscape is really pretty and we explored it with the bikes that were at the house. The house is perfectly located for trips or sightseeing in Normandie. We will definitely come back. Thanks Nicole and Bernard for this wonderful holiday.

Très beau séjour. L’emplacement était parfait avec un très beau jardin fleuri. La maison était propre et bien équipée. Les pièces sont de bonnes dimmensions; on ne se marche pas sur les pieds. Nous serions ravis de séjourner à nouveau.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage, top gepflegt und ausgestattet. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Strand etwa 5 km entfernt, großartig für entspannte Spaziergänge mit Hund. Übersichtskarten für Rundwege liegen im Ferienhaus vor. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Manche sind von Montchaton aus mit dem Auto sehr gut erreichbar.

Zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben uns in dieser geräumigen und gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung in ruhiger ländlicher Umgebung sehr wohlgefühlt. Insbesondere hat uns auch gefallen, dass wir die schöne Terrasse und den großen Garten nutzen konnten. Auch konnten schnell das Meer zum Baden erreichren.

Sehr gepflegte und ruhig gelegene Unterkunft, genau wie beschrieben, sowie eine sehr liebenswerte Vermieterin. Absolut empfehlenswert! Nochmals ein großes Dankeschön, wir haben die Zeit in "Le Benset - Le Levant" sehr genossen. Très belle et tranquille location, comme indiquée et une propriétaire très chaleureuse. Absolument recommandable! Encore une fois un très grand merci, nous avons beaucoup apprécié le séjour à "Le Benset -Le Levant"

Endroit magnifique pour nous et notre labrador Points positifs/pas de point négatif Accueil au Toppp, explications très claires (les propriétaires sont toujours disponibles) logement très très propre et bien agencé....il ne manque rien pour des vacances au calme, vraiment rien a dire sauf merci beaucoup Eine wunderschöne Ecke zum Entspannen mit Vermietern super nett und immer da wenn fragen sind!! Alles Blitze blank wirklich suuuuuper sauber der schöne große Garten für Sonnenbad/Pingpong und für den Hund zum freien laufen Klasse ! Fahrräder, grill und viele andere kleine dinge sind da zu Nutzung!! Wir fahren sicher wieder dort hin Vielen herzlichen dank an die Besitzer Ich empfehle diese schöne Ecke sehr!!! Mfg

Nach einem sehr netten Empfang und einer überaus positiven Überraschung, wie großräumig, sauber und schön das Ferienhaus ist, hat uns die Vermieterin am nächsten Tag frisches Brioche, Marmelade und Cidre gebracht. Das Ferienhaus verfügt über einen riesigen, zusammen genutzten Garten, separate Waschküche und Grill sowie eine (oft genutzte) Eiswürfelmaschine!!! Die bei uns im Mai max. 26 Grad Celsius waren im Naturstein-Haus kaum spürbar. Tolle außen Sitzgelegenheit direkt vor der Eingangstür in der Abendsonne und morgens für Frühstück war wundervoll. Zwar fehlt dem verschlafenen Örtchen ein Bäcker jedoch nimmt man hier den kurzen Weg in den Nebenort gerne für die Ruhe in Kauf. Vom Ort aus sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten mit max. 1,5 Std. Fahrt erreichbar. Strände locker mit 10 min Fahrt. Die Vermieter sind sehr Hundefreundlich, was nicht unbedingt für die französischen Freizeitaktivitäten gilt. Hunde (bei uns 2 Stück) sind in den vielen Parks verboten, sowie in den meisten Städten wurde Hundebesitzern kaum Beachtung geschenkt (Müllbehälter, Kotbeutelspender etc.). Dafür sind Strandrestaurants sehr Hundefreundlich und auch die Einheimischen freuen sich über die Vierbeinigen Tischnachbarn. Im allgemeinen ist diese Region sehr kontaktfreundlich und wir empfehlen vor dem Urlaub sein Französisch etwas aufzufrischen, da eine Kommunikation auf englisch etwas holperig ist. Aber wir haben es genossen unseren Wortschatz zu erweitern. Wunderbarer Urlaub!

Nous avons passés un excellent séjour. Le gîte était très propre et vraiment très bien équipé, il ne manque de rien. Très bon accueil de la propriétaire. Le gîte est bien situé, proche de la mer et nous avons fait de magnifiques balades dans la région. A recommander sans hésiter!
