A gorgeous Gatlinburg getaway, Timberwinds 1804 is a custom-built luxury cabin set on a knoll tucked among the trees in the Smokies. This luxury home features stained glass windows by local artist Chuck Ottolini, plenty of deck space, modern conveniences, and beautiful décor throughout. Enjoy relaxing, playing, and dining with family and friends at this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin for 4!

The living room features plush leather seating, a stacked stone fireplace, and large floor-to-ceiling windows framing beautiful views. The fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a table for 4, and the loft upstairs boasts a pool table for fun! Enjoy a soak and mountain views from the hot tub or gather around the firepit for chats and drinks.

At night, the two suites feature memory foam mattresses, nice bedding, jetted tubs, walk-in showers with dual shower heads, and TVs. They'll be like retreats within your retreat! And with plenty of seating across the decks, you can sit back and watch as the sun sets over the Great Smoky Mountains and the city lights below.

Timberwinds 1804 also boasts Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, a stereo and CD player, decorations during the winter holidays, and access to community pools!

Great stay

We had a great stay. The cabin is perfect for a nice weekend get away. The pool table was a surprise and was fun. The hot tub is more like a soaking tub, a little disappointing but was a nice soak as the sun was setting.

Mountain views

The cabin was "epic" as our two teenage daughters said when we walked in. Both the upstairs and main floor bedrooms were large with whirlpool tubs and private balconies. The view was amazing. But you MUST have a 4-wheel drive to get up the steep driveway and roads leading to the cabin. It is very high up into the mountain.

Nice location. Great for two couples

Overall very nice. Was clean except for a trash bag under the deck. Hot tub was good for 4, but not more. Nice view.

Dirty

This cabin was so dirty and unkempt. The carpets probably haven't seen a vacuum in a year. The bedspreads were so dusty. I'm sure they have never been laundered. Jacuzzi upstairs had a broken jet. Not enough hot water for 1 person to take a shower. No lights in the hit tub. I also tried to message the owner through the app and never had a response. Very disappointing for the money we spent.

We completely understand how upsetting it must have been to arrive to an unclean cabin, an inoperable jacuzzi, issues with the hot water, no lights in the hot tub, and to make matters worse, not being able to get in touch with our customer care team. We recognize that we dropped the ball as far as responding to your promptly, as it seems as if your messages were not filtered properly, so we did not receive them in a timely manner. This is certainly not how we operate, and please know that your experience is unacceptable to us. We have shared your experience with all involved departments to see how we can prevent this from being an issue for any future guests. We would like to sincerely apologize once more for your poor experience and the dismay this may have caused. We hope for the chance to host a more positive experience for you and your guests in the near future.

Just short of perfect

The property was very welcoming and well kept. The outside lower and upper decks could have been a little better maintained but not a big deal. We had an unfortunate incident where an animal entered the duct work somehow and was making quite a racket at 3 am thereafter trying to find a way out with no luck. We asked to be moved to another property as the noise was very bothersome especially at night. The only unit available was a condo so we had to go with that. I requested that we would be compensated for the inconvenience of having to move to a "lesser" property and Kevin the manager said he would be happy to do that. We have not yet been compensated for this and hope that an adjustment will be made soon as promised.

Nice cabin.

The cabin is very nice. Roads and Driveway is very steep so if you're not used to mountain driving, you may want to reconsider this property. Cabin was clean when we arrived. Check in instructions were easy. If you like cook, the kitchen lacks. Most of the pots are old, scratched and broken. They need to be replaced. The area was very nice and was convenient to downtown Gatlinburg. Amazing views from the decks. The area was very quiet. It would have been nice to have had more towels. For the money that we paid for the week, I don't feel like I should have to bring my own linens and paper products. Overall the stay was very nice.

View was good but property was not well maintained

Let’s start with good It was nice location and view was amazing. Tables in the deck gives amazing view. Now with bad part This property was not properly maintained. Many lights were not working. Downstairs bedroom door would not close properly. Light in the hot tub did not work. There was no shampoo/conditioner provided and only 1 small bar soap was provided which was not enough for our 3 nights stay. Speakers in the living room sound terrible. There were not enough lights on the deck to sit outside in night.

Timberwinds

Cute little place! Saw bears 4 times, roads are scary! Steep incline but we got used to it. Close to Gatlinburg and there is a Market close and Ski Mountain Pizza delivers and is amazing! Had a nice time!

Vacation July 2020 Smoky Mountains

loved the property and view. Parking in the driveway was a little scary. Loved seeing the bears that visited. Perfect place for a getaway. Pool we used with property could have been updated. Overall loved are stay.

Reviewer Comments: My husband and I enjoyed our stay during the covid19 days as we isolated ourselves and cooked all our meals at the cabin. We took advantage of the fire ring every evening and enjoyed the view and tranquility. Beware a brownish bear broke into our vehicle and made several visits at the front door and onto the back deck. The bear is very quiet and sneaks up. During the covid19 I felt more soap and paper towels should have been available and also need sanitizer.

So we decided on a mountain cabin. 1804 Timberwinds was everything we were looking for. The cabin was beautiful inside and out. Peaceful and relaxing. We never left the cabin but for trips for groceries. No TV news was allowed. Played pool, soaked in the hot tub, watched fireworks from the deck,"motored" through the National Park. It was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. Just what we needed. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Property was just as described....very spacious, extremely clean and well kept and the view was unbelievable! Hot tub super nice and clean. We spent many hours on the deck ...make sure you catch the sunrise from the porch..breathtaking. The downstairs bed is one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. There is a market nearby that delivers good food which was a nice surprise. You feel super secluded and tucked away but are only minutes from town! Just a heads up: The drive up from the parkway is very windy mountain roads and the driveway is super steep. We saw an adorable bear from our deck one day and once on our drive up! We will definitely be back! Town tips: we used a fantastic taxi service called Benz Taxi - if you want to have a few drinks in town call them! Also got our old fashinoned portraits done at Somewhere in Time - super great people and cheapest place we found! The mexican restaurant El Burro is very good The seafood restaurant Chesapeake was better than any steak house in chicago (and we live there so we know!) Very reasonable also Mill House in Pigeon forge had chicken pot pie, fried shrimp and green beans to die for. Five Oaks farm is right outside of Pigeon forge and had the best pancakes and no wait (the places in town get super crowded)

Plenty of privacy and great view of the mountains. The cabin was clean and well laid out we thought. While we were there we enjoyed the hot tub and having a fire in the fire pit in the evenings. Very relaxing! With all this said we would go back to this cabin again. However, we would like to see the cover to the hot tub replaced. It looked like a bear or other animal took bites out of it. Oh, before I forget, we did see a bear and two cubs walking by the cabin. That was a plus for us to see that. The last comment I want to make about the cabin would be repairing holes made in one of the post by pest. Otherwise, the holes could get larger requiring more extensive repair.

Also wish we would have brought hangers because 1st floor bedroom had no place to put clothes; and nothing to set them on or in. It was nice to not have close neighbors, but the ride up and down is nerve racking and the driveway is at such a steep angle.
