An authentic, fully restored 19th-century winemaker’s house nestled in the heart of the famous Côtes Mâconnaises wine region, not far from the Côtes Chalonnaises. Located in a typical hamlet adjacent to the centre of the picturesque wine-growing and commercial town of Lugny—the “little capital of the Haut-Mâconnais,” home to its own “Mâcon Lugny” AOC and the first winery to produce Burgundy wines—a must-see stop on the Mâconnais-Beaujolais Wine Route, nestled in the heart of a magnificent, unspoiled rural and vinicultural cirque, between vineyard-covered slopes and wooded hills. An exceptionally privileged location at the crossroads of the Mâconnais, the Tournugeois-Clunisois (designated a “Pays d’Art et d’Histoire”), the Chalonnais, and the Bresse Bourguignonne, on the Romanesque churches circuit, and along the routes of designated mountain bike trails, including the Grand Tour of the Southern Burgundy Massif, just 9 km from the greenway (and the Saône River).
