One of the best ever
At the end of the stay, I asked my wife of all the apartments and villas where we have stayed over the years, and there have been a lot, “where did this one rate?” We agreed that it is in the top 3 of all time. The only reason that it wasn’t the No. 1 is the fact that each one of the top 3 were excellent overall but each one had something unique about them that made ranking them1-3 impossible.
Firstly let me say that our hosts Veronika and her husband Silvain were superb. Nothing was too much trouble, any problems were sorted out immediately and they were so helpful in their advice of where to go and what to do etc.
The view from the apartment is incredible. Open up the front blind in the morning, the ocean is at your feet and the light come streaming in.
The apartment has everything you could wish for. There is a small supermarket and bakery adjacent with larger supermarkets a short drive away. Access into the sea directly in front of the apartment is not possible. However a short couple of minutes to the left swimming is easy and a 10 min walk to the right along the beach brings you to a beautiful sheltered cove where there is a hotel who don’t seem to mind you using their sunbeds, and the sea is amazing. The alternative for swimming are the 2 excellent pools on the estate.
We were there in late January. The weather was always hot enough for us (28deg). There were clouds around some days and some very short spells of rain. But nothing to detract from an excellent holiday as the clouds were sometime a blessing and the rain only lasted for minutes.
