wonderful place in Zadar

We've had a lovely stay during our first visit to Zadar with this place. Everything was there as described. We had the most welcoming and helpful hosts with Edita and Milka. The helpful tips regarding beaches, restaurants were an extra asset and we very much enjoyed the food from the garden (figs and tomatos) our hosts shared so kindly. We'll definitely be back and wish all the best for Edita, Milka and the very nice neighborhood.

Friendly hosts

Edita and Milka welcomed us at midnight due to a delayed flight. They provided a welcome platter of food on arrival. We asked for advice about trips and places to visit and they gave of their time, local contacts and knowledge. They also gave us delicious produce from their garden and the option to buy extra local wine, olive oil and honey. The property does have a beautiful balcony although the mosquitos were stealthy. The air on was essential for us Brits. The flat was superb and we slept well due to fans. Wifi speed was better than expected (20 mbps). Big TV might be fun to watch olympics but I couldn’t figure it out. The location is 1.5 km uphill from a touristy beach (with a safe and pretty walk) but 500m from a large supermarket and it’s in a quiet residential road. Car hire would be recommended as it’s too far to walk into the old town and the walk to the supermarket would be alongside a currently being constructed road improvement. Lots of fairly pricey restaurants within walking distance if you’re reasonably fit. The flat was so clean and well cared for and well worth the money. Hosts delightful.

gelungener Urlaub

Wir bedanken uns sehr für die Gastfreundschaft von Milka und Tochter Editha - grand merci. Und für die gute Versorgung mit frischem Obst und Gemüse. Die großräumige FeWo ist städtisch, am Hang aber ruhig gelegen. Die Ausstattung ist für die Selbstverpflegung völlig ausreichend. Mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar, wie auch Restaurants. Von dort aus, kann man sternförmig mit dem Auto rasch das Umland von Zadar erkunden.

Prima verblijf voor maximaal een week

Keurige accommocatie op 1 km lopen van strand. Zeer compleet ingericht; alles wat je nodig hebt (incl handdoeken) voorradig. Met 38 graden wel (te) warm om lekker te kunnen slapen. Investering is een goede airco is wenselijk.

Für Leute, die die Hitze nicht aushalten, empfehle ich immer, im Frühling zu kommen, da sind die Temperaturen angenehmer, vor allem, wenn man einen Besuch abstatten möchte 😊

Nice 2 bedroom with comfortable living area centrally located in Zadar, Croatia. Convenient to the old town area and in walking distance of a great restaurant (Sime). Nice house and great host!

Supernette Gastgeber und schöne Wohnung

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der schönen Wohnung sehr genossen und waren von der Freundlichkeit von Edita und Milka sehr begeistert. Leider hatten wir alle vier Magen Darm im Urlaub und wir wurden supertoll während dieser harten Zeit unterstützt. Der Strand ist allerdings nicht 900m sondern 1500m entfernt (wichtig wenn man plant mit Kindern dort hin zu laufen). Wir sind schlussendlich immer ins wunderschöne Petrcane mit dem Auto gefahren (war auch ein Tipp der Gastgeberin).

Wonderful place

The apartment had everything you need and was cosy and comfortable with a large bathroom and an extra toilet. Two separate bedrooms for grown-ups and kids were also welcome. We were also free to use the washing-machine when needed. And we got fresh tomatoes and figs from the owner‘s garden! ;-) So we would recommend this place to others, thanks to Edita and her mother, a bientôt!

Wir haben ein paar schöne Tage in dieser Wohnung verbracht. Sie liegt ruhig und dennoch nicht zu weit vom Strand entfernt. Hier kann man Urlaub fernab vom Massentourismus machen!

Die Wohnung war sehr gut, bis zum Strand zu Fuß war der Weg ca.20 Minuten mit dem Auto zwei Minuten. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich, und die Lage war auch sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung war sogar viel besser als das Hotel vor drei Jahren was wir für viel Geld gebucht haben.

Sehr sauber und alles was man braucht

Wir hatten einen tollen Sommer Urlaub. Die Wohnung recht völlig aus und man fühlt sich wohl. Milka ist ein Herzenzguter Mensch und hat sich sehr bemüht das auch alles ok ist. Frische Feigen und Tomaten gab es auch noch von ihr:) In der Umgebung hat man wahnsinnig viele Einkaufensmöglichkeiten wie Lidl Kaufland ect. Nur wasser fanden wir in den Supermärkten etwas überteuert.

Wir haben erholsame Tage in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, genügend Platz für 4 Personen und die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Ein großer Supermarkt ist zu Fuß erreichbar, auch der Strand ist zu Fuß machbar, man geht ca.20/25 min, hat dann aber einen schönen Platz gefunden, mit einer tollen Strandbar, direkt am Wasser. In die Altstadt von Zadar fährt man am besten mit dem Bus ,das sind nur ein paar Stationen. Unsere Vermieterin war total nett und unkompliziert, wir haben aus ihrem Garten frische Tomaten ,Gurken und Feigen bekommen:) Die Betten waren auch bequem, alles prima!!!

We hadden een fijn verblijf in het appartement van Edita, een zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. Gebruik van wasmachine en tuin, informatie waar we dat nodig hadden. Een prettige rustige buurt vlakbij uitvalswegen en dichtbij het centrum van Zadar.
