Gorgeous Views, pristine ‘70’s cabin

The grounds were impeccably maintained and the lake view ideal. The cabin is well maintained, furnished with original artwork and decorations from the 70’s and early 80’s. It’s a very small place - 2 adults and 1 or 2 kids would be a tight squeeze. This is a A frame cabin with a tiny entry way that fits 1 body and a narrow staircase that goes up to the living area - you need to bring luggage up 1 bag at a time. I suggest bringing your own pillow - one of the bed pillows was great - the others were stiffys that would have given me a neckache. All that said, it was delightful and I’d stay there again.

Pristine 70’s experience with a view

I spent 3 nights at this property and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a peaceful neighborhood, the grounds were impeccable and the furnishings/decorations were very nostalgic for me as I was a kid in the ‘70’s. I stayed by myself with my 2 dogs. It’s pretty small for 2 adults but doable. While there’s a futon in the living room - it would be quite cramped with 2 adults and children. Note that there is a VERY narrow staircase up to the living area - tough to navigate with luggage. Plan to take your bags up one at a time. The owner must be very fastidious. There were notes about exactly where things go with pictures in the cupboards and elsewhere. I found the notes to be a bit over the top but perhaps that’s why everything is in such great condition.

The house itself is lovely, but it is way too small for 4 people, in our case two adults and two small children. Even though the unit is well appointed and has many conveniences for those with young children (kids dishware, a pack n play, some toys), it was just too small. The "twin sofa bed" is not a fold-out like the name would imply - it's just a couch with a wooden frame, and the "fold out mattress" is a canvas cot. A standard sleeper sofa with a pull-out bed would be much more comfortable and convenient. It should also be disclosed in the listing how small the shower is. My husband would not fit and I would be hard-pressed to believe that anyone over 6' could comfortably shower due to limited overhead clearance. A bathmat to step out on would have been appreciatedThere is a board on the (lovely) outdoor deck that is in immediate need of repair. Thankfully the deck base is covered in astroturf, however the loose protruding board was still noticeable.Overall, the house is well appointed, the decor is kitschy and charming, and everything is meticulously labeled and organized. The view and location is fantastic, and the neighborhood was full of friendly and welcoming people.

Cute and comfy - love all the details

We had such a nice time - this little apartment is sweet and obviously well-loved. All the handmade details were really impressive and fun for us to explore - it's really a masterpiece! The balcony was wonderful and the great music selection was a nice surprise. A perfect anniversary getaway.

Great little place for two and a dog.

Used this as a retreat after days of skiing. Nice neighborhood for dog walks. The kitchen is small, but functioned well for small meals for two. Proximity to ski resorts and constant beauty as you drive by the lake make this place a great value.

A 70s immersion space

We loved this tiny place. It felt so loved and had cds and vhs from the 70s and 80s. Very quiet and calm. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the ceiling fan nor how to turn off the bed heater. But the space was adorable. Nice neighbors and close beac access w as lkable to save the trouble of finding parking. We highly recommend.

Fantastic place with excellent location

Driving up to the house, we were floored. The property and the house are beautiful, The house inside and out looks brand new. The interior is quintessential old school European alpine flair. We will definitely look to book this house very soon. The owner has taken exceptional care and pride in this property.
