This beautiful home was built in 1918 on Belle River, LA. The house was built out of virgin cypress from the Atchafalaya Basin swamp. The original owner of the house had a sawmill in which he cut his own lumber to build the house. Since then it has been remodeled on the inside, while keeping it's original look. The outside still has it's original cypress wood from when it was first built. However, it has been painted. It has a front porch with a view of the river along with a pier directly across the street. The house also has an added sunroom which looks into a cypress swamp. It has a fully furnished kitchen, linens, washer and dryer, internet and cable TV. The home is located in Pierre Part, LA home of Troy Landry from the hit show Swamp People. The house is located about 1.5 miles from Troy's morning hangout, Duffy's. It also overlooks Belle River and is approximately 2 miles from accessing the Atchafalaya Basin and Lake Verret.

Wonderful

This is the 2nd time we stayed here and won't be the last. The place is beautiful and very roomy. Its right by the water, waking up in the morning watching the sunrise over Belle River is so relaxing. The owner is super nice and helps you out what ever you need. I would not stay anywhere is. Can not wait to go back. Had my grandson with us and he enjoyed the fishing so much. Awesome place.

Awesome Cabin

This cabin is AWESOME.....The host was very nice and easy to communicate with. The views of the bayou and surroundings are very beautiful. I highly recommend this cabin!!! Hope to return soon.

Perfect for Booze Cruisers!!

This was our second stay at this very same camp and we love it. We will continue to book this spot every year for our annual booze cruise weekend in belle river! It is walking distance from where you load onto Jason Campo's booze cruise. Plenty room for air mattresses and they put in 2 sets of bunk beds which makes even more room for air mattresses. Can't wait to for our next stay! The place is very clean and spacious. Towels are provided and the clean up is not a burden.
