About this property

North Pines is a working game ranch. It contains whitetail deer, as well as exotic animals such as zebras, black buck antelope, axis deer, red stag, and more. Our lodge has a large living area, open floor plan kitchen and dining area, a large shop area, and a large back porch with a fire pit, and out door cooking area. There is a lake for fishing, canoeing and kayaking, and trails for hiking and ATVs. Our entire facility is neatly maintained and we take pride in our property and animals.

Perfect Getaway!

The ranch was an absolute dream! The property was beautiful, the house was clean and stocked with more than everything we needed, and the owners were super kind and accommodating! My family visited from Illinois and has already decided to make this property their annual staycation home. It never gets old watching the dozens of deer (and zebra) wander around. Although the rain made them a bit difficult to enjoy, the pond accessories and fire pit were a great touch! We really appreciated getting to use the side-by-side to tour the grounds, and being supplied with propane for the grill. If I had to make any critiques or suggestions, these few minor things would have made our stay *beyond* perfect: 1- A couple more life vests (child & adult) 2- A fenced in space for dogs/service animals to be able to run freely outside 3- The tips of the pool sticks were pretty shot 4- Fishing poles 5- The outlets on the north wall of the kitchen were not working and there were no warning signs (but maybe they didn't know) But, those are only a handful of "greedy wants." There were unlimited amounts of household supplies (laundry detergent, tp, paper towels, dish soap, pots & pans, spices, etc), several activities that could be used inside or out, a huge indoor space/garage for kids to run around and play even though it was wet outside, WIFI, spacious comfy furniture/beds, extra folding tables, plenty of towels and wash cloths... I could go on and on!! We absolutely LOVE this hidden gem, just outside of town, and look forward to coming back again and again!

My family stayed here to attend a nearby wedding, it was so peaceful, & nice. We absolutely loved our stay. The owners were the nicest people I’ve ever met.
