- Visit of Saint-Saturnin (adjoining village) was classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, its church and its royal castle of the thirteenth century.
- Hiking and visit of the Randol Abbey (manufacture of local products) and its small village restored by the monks.
- Hiking on the trails of the Serre plateau.
- Hike of the gorges of La Monne from Olloix or long loop for hikers.
- The Plateau de Gergovie offers a 360° view of the landscapes of Auvergne, it enters history under the pen of Julius Caesar recounting the bitter defeat inflicted on it by Vercingetorix, in 52 BC.

- The natural lake of Aydat (beach, donkey rides, tree climbing)
- Lake Chambon is located in the heart of a mountain cirque, between the Massif du Sancy, the Chaudefour Valley and Murol (2 sandy beaches, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle, dinghy, pedal water...)
- Le Guery is an ideal place for a smooth mountain hike. This huge summer pasture area offers a superb panorama of the Massif du Sancy and the Chaîne des Puys.
- The Pavin, the most beautiful, youngest, deepest and most mysterious of the lakes. In summer and winter, take the path that winds around the lake, in the heart of the beautiful beech forest. You will discover many viewpoints on the dark or turquoise waters of the lake.

The Chaîne des Puys has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2018.

- The Capuchin at Mont-Dore accessible with the oldest funicular in France classified as a historical monument, a summit at 1468 m with an exceptional view of the Dordogne valley.
