Old Mill Farmhouse

Make yourself at home in our fully restored 1926 farmhouse with tons of charm...original fireplace, shiplap walls, and farmhouse sinks! Cook on our gas stove or relax on the porch rocking chairs and swing. TVs- above the claw foot tub in master bath, all the bedrooms, and a 70” in the living room. (Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+)
Great location- 5 miles to Mcdonough Square with many restaurants and shopping, 5 miles to Southern Belle Farm, only 20 miles from the airport, Atlanta Motor Speedway, and many attractions in Atlanta!

You will have the whole house, porches, and a side yard to yourself. There is a private carriage house (not accessible to VRBO guests) at the very back of the property, the concrete driveway is shared with that dwelling.

Great old farm house!

We, eight siblings had a great stay at the ole mill house. The house was great. The kitchen was well furnished and the beds were comfortable. We would stay again.

McDonough Girls Trip

Beautiful restored farmhouse

We arrived on one of the coldest days the Atlanta area has seen in years! There were a few frozen pipes that the owner took care of quickly and it did take awhile for the furnace to catch up and keep the house warm. But the owner immediately responded to our needs. The countryside is beautiful with great parks nearby, plus Atlanta is near. A family Christmas we won’t forget!

Atlanta family vacation hotel option

We are a family of 7: 3 adults 4 children 6-15 years of age. The house is secluded and by the road, not within working distance of any eatery or strip mall which is a small ding. The northern direction is about 25 minutes from downtown Atlanta and southward is 5-10 minutes from many dining options. The rooms are spacious enough, spaced out well for privacy for all and well furnished throughout. Everything to do with the property owners were easy, from check-in through their hospitality to check-out. Would stay there again without reservations

A fantastic space for families

We enjoyed or stay at the Old Mill Farmhouse. The property had all the amenities we were looking for in a family retreat. Someone put a lot of thought and effort into the decor and the items throughout the space. The attention to detail made our stay extra enjoyable. This was a superior property.

Perfect Place for Gal Pal Long Weekend

The farm house was EVERYTHING is was billed to be! The renovation was well done. The furnishing were just casual enough to be comfortable while still maintaining a sense of upscale style. Clean & well stocked, the kitchen was the perfect place to prepare and enjoy meals together. Our group of lifelong gal pals would definitely recommend the Old Mill Farm House. We even had a light dusting of snow on Saturday morning! How's that for added ambiance?!!! The owners were ultra responsive!

I wish I could live here!

This home is incredible! Every single room is beautifully decorated and so spacious! I stayed here with my 3 adult daughters, and we had so much fun. From the gorgeous front porch, to the adorable side porch - the Southern Charm is real here, and the countryside is beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here, and would definitely visit again. Everything was perfect, and I wish I could live here! Thanks for having us!

Beautiful farmhouse

Very comfortable and homey feeling. Beautifully decorated. Loved that 3 out of 4 bedrooms had full bathrooms!! Great place to get away really enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch. A great stay next time we are in that area we would definitely rent again.
