Quiet in the middle of nowhere

Great House with a Few Drawbacks. The house is very spacious and well equipped - everything you need is available. The pool ist fantastic and was definitely a highlight. The location is also good: Caen is relatively close, and the beach in Cabourg is easy to reach and highly recommended. However, there are a few things that could be improved: Mosquito nets are highly recommended - during our stay there was a REAL mosquito problem, and we all got badly bitten. Some rooms could use a bit of an updating, and there are a few minor issus with the property (see photos). We also had to order bed linen separately, even though it should have been included in the price according to the description we thought. Overall: A lovely house with a few flaws - but perfectly fine for families with children and teenagers.

Thank you very much for your detailed and constructive feedback. We’re delighted that you enjoyed the spaciousness of the house, the well-equipped facilities, the pool, and our great location close to Caen and the beaches of Cabourg. We’re truly sorry about the inconvenience caused by mosquitoes. It’s something that can occasionally occur in summer due to our proximity to a natural bird reserve and a swiming pool. We appreciate your suggestion regarding mosquito screens and will seriously consider adding them. As for the bed linen, we understand your confusion and will make sure this point is clarified in our listing to avoid any misunderstandings in the future. Finally, thank you for your comment about minor improvements — we will take them into account to make the house even more pleasant. Thanks again for your stay, and we would be happy to welcome you and your family again in the future.

Transfert
