Great location for Plitvice Lakes. Very clean property, easy check in, gracious host. Wonderful little restaurant about 1/4 mile down the road. Would stay again.

Great Stay at House Marijana

Very nice Croatian home fit our 7 adult family easily. Our host, Marijana, greeted us on arrival and was super nice. Beautiful setting on long private drive. We enjoyed the large picnic style table on their covered patio. Perfect jump off spot for Plitvice National Park, a must see location in Croatia.

Lovely home 12 minutes from Plitvice

Marijana is a quiet, rural location that is convenient to Plitvice Park. Beds are comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. The kitchen had adequate furnishings but the stove is a small 2 burner so cooking for a group is challenging. We stayed one night so that was not a major problem.

Unterkunft für Besuch Plitvicer Seen ideal

Unterkunft sauber und alles nötige vorhanden. Gastgeber sehr freundlich. Zusätzliche Kosten für Frühstück (6€/P) ausf jeden Fall ok. Jeden Tag gibt es etwas besonderes vom selbstgebackenen Kuchen über selbst geräuchertes oder Obst. In ca. 10min. mit dem Auto bei den Seen. Alles in Allem empfehlenswert. Uns hat es gefallen.

Rustic Accommodations Close to National Park

The hosts were very friendly. The check in process was simple, as the host lives on the property and was available to answer questions and unlock the home. The property is gorgeous. There are beautiful flowers, some farm animals, open areas and a nice table for sitting outside. I loved the simple charm of the rooster crowing! The inside of the home was like visiting my grandmas home, complete with the charm of yesteryear. The home felt much smaller than it appeared in photos. The main issue we had with the house was that it was VERY HOT. There is no air conditioning or fans and the windows only open a crack. It was 80+ degrees outside and the house was unbearably hot. Also, the amenities such as towels and pillows desperately need to be updated. The remote country setting of the property was beautiful and the proximity to the National Park was fantastic. With a few minor updates, I think this property would improve very much. If I were to return to the area I would look for different accommodations, even if it meant being a bit further away from the National Park.

Our party of 4 adults and 4 children stayed in house Marijana fir two nights while visiting Plitvice Lakes and the accomodations were great. Nice area to explore and lots of history in the area. This house made it real easy to get to the lakes. I would recommend it because the host also does a great job making sure your stay is perfect.

nette grosszügie Unterkunft mit allem was notwendig ist in Nähe Plitvice Nationalpark (7mnin mit dem Auto). Liegt etwas abseits aber wenn man die Ruhe sucht, genau das Richtige. Vermieter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. In näherer Umgebung (binnen 10min) findet man Restaurants, Supermärkte und Bäcker.
