Ten minutes to Historic Honokaa Town, with it's great restaurants, shopping and historical museum. Waipio Valley Lookout for an iconic view; hike or drive down to the huge black sand beach! A horseback tour is another fun way to enjoy the local splendor. Half an hour to amazing waterfalls, zip lines, Waimea cattle country and beach parks. Forty minutes to huge white sand beaches, surfing, kayak and scuba. Lava tubes and petroglyphs! Or drive down the stunning Hāmākua Coast at sunset to dine in historic Hilo town. Upcountry and beautiful, The Vintage Farmhouse will be your own Hawaiian home to enjoy, and from which to adventure forth!! Botanical Garden is on site and not available to public. Guided tours available!
