Inspired by Brooksong's success, we are very pleased to debut Birdsong: a lavishly comfortable, highly unique, year-round space designed with an eye to the eclectic and enjoyable. Boasting an enormous Hydropool hot tub that doubles as an indoor swimming pool, sauna, well-equipped boutique gym, pool table, dedicated conference room/business center, outdoor fire pit and heated treehouse for kids; Birdsong is like no other place you'll ever stay.

Hot tub was great! There could be another couch in the living room. Seating for 11 of us was a little tight for relaxing together. Overall a beautiful stay.

Hi Madeline, I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. Just a note to point out for future guests that the living room couch is sizable, there are two loveseats and plenty of extra chairs available for seating. No short-term rental is going to be 100% flawless, and it’s a common misconception that anything less than perfection deserves a 4-star rating. However, ratings less than 5 stars hurt our standing as Premier hosts, and we at Birdsong do our best to create a truly extraordinary stay for our guests, especially for its value. A reminder that Birdsong offers an enormous 12-person hot tub, gym, sauna, 6 bedrooms and bathrooms, and around 6000 square feet of space to enjoy on 2 acres of land, for around the same nightly fee as a tiny hotel room. I encourage future guests to remember that very few things in life are 100% perfect, so please consider the value you received for your money and rate your short-term rental hosts 5 stars if you can see that a great deal of care and expense has been taken to make your stay an enjoyable one. I promise that we will really appreciate it! 😊

Wonderful spacious house with a lovely garden just outside the very pretty village of Thornbury. Close to hiking trails on the escarpment. Terrific for families: there is a playhouse and slide in the backyard, a fire pit, an absolutely enormous hot tub, games room and full gym. A large, well-equipped kitchen and many spacious bedrooms complete the picture.

Very relaxing and beautiful

It's stunning. Not to far from town so its easy to get essentials. At the same time it's beautiful and relaxing. The managers were very helpful and came right away when we needed it as we are tourists and not sure how to operate everything. Altogether a lovely stay.

Perfect gateway

We have been in this property in the last week of August, and we had a great time there. It was very easy to check-in, and all the information we needed was easy to find and understand (e.g. WiFi). The house is exactly the same as shown in the pictures. All the rooms were spotless, really well organized and equipped. The swimming pool was no doubt the highlight of our stay. Great fun for the kids and adults. For sure, a place to stay again in the future.

Built by a master woodworker who imported all the wood for the house from South America, Birdsong is a stunning, timber-frame, stone-clad estate on two acres of lush land in the picturesque town of Meaford. Just near the famous Blue Mountain ski resort, as well as several popular beaches; the property can be enjoyed in all seasons. Delightfully quirky decor, charming surprises and classic elegance define the interior spaces, with pristine Ontario countryside all around. You'll feel more than a touch of magic as you play pool while overlooking the vista of snowy hills, barbecue in the sun-drenched garden, gather around a fire at night or cook in the immaculate chef's kitchen.
