Mary was a super hostess! She provided a tour of her property and let un know that we were basically at home. A great feeling especially sonce it was our first trip to Alaska. Very clean, updated and easy to get to... and the chance to see moose! We had a great time!
Great little getaway cabin! Mary was very accommodating and came out to meet us and show us around upon our arrival! There were nice amenities added and the laundry convenience was so helpful! Wonderful place!
Our host Mary was great. Always willing to help with our needs the biggest being extra freezer space for our fish. We were not at the cabin much as we fished every day. The cabin worked out for us as a sleeping quarters, an area to vac seal our fish and the on site laundry was a great bonus. I would not recommend the loft sleeping for anyone with any kind of physical limitation.
Mary the owner is very friendly and helpful. The cabin is really cute, those stairs to the bedroom are a little challenging esp. if you have to get up at night for the bathroom. There are 2 boisterous Magpies that live in the trees right by the cabin, but I love those beautiful birds and enjoyed listening to their chatter on the porch in the morning with my coffee. The road nearby can be a little noisy but you don’t really hear it in the cabin, just where on the porch. We seen several Moose nearby and conveniently near some stores if you need supplies. The locals are very friendly as well.
New, super clean cabin. Appreciated the host allowing us to check in early on arrival day. Well appointed cabin. Loved the location and a wonderful host. We even saw the mamma and baby moose walk in the front yard!
Overall had a wonderful experience. The host set the tone for great trip. The property, in the Alaska wilderness, became a destination as much as the world class fishing we experienced. Trees, solitude, a river, moose sightings, were among the added amenities. If only I could move in… forever memorable.
My boyfriend and I stayed here over 4th of July weekend! It was a very cozy, nice cabin to stay in close to a couple of lakes, River access, and the beach! The property manager was very nice and and made the booking process and our stay very pleasant.
