About this property

Large holiday home near the historic center and the ruins of Metternich

The medieval town of Beilstein is located on one of the most beautiful Moselle loops.

Here is our generously cut
Holiday home.
It has 4 bedrooms and another bedroom with a bunk bed.
Furthermore, it is equipped with 3 bathrooms, each with a shower and toilet, and a bathtub in one of the bathrooms. In addition, it has a guest toilet.
On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave and oven, a fridge and a dishwasher.

There is the possibility to use 4 additional beds in our apartment in the annex. It consists of a double and a twin room, a bathroom with a bathtub and toilet, a living room with a dining area and a kitchen with an oven, hob and fridge.

The historic town center and the castle ruins of Metternich are just a few minutes' walk away.

Its picturesque streets, the half-timbered houses, the old tithe with the historic market square, the ruins of the Metternich castle, the former synagogue and the Carmelite church invite you to take a leisurely stroll.

There is a large selection of restaurants on site, where many regional specialties await you.

In the immediate vicinity you can enjoy many leisure activities.
Beilstein offers boat tours several times a day. The neighboring town of Ellenz-Poltersdorf, which can be reached by ferry in a few minutes, is an outdoor swimming pool.
In and around Beilstein there are several premier hiking trails that invite you to interesting hikes or walks.
Cochem, with the Reichsburg and the Klotten amusement park is about 10 minutes away by car.
Koblenz can be reached in about 35 minutes.
Trier, the oldest city in Germany is about 100km away

The best holliday home ever

The house was perfect: more than enough place, all the huge comfort, in a quiet street but just near the beautiful centre. The owner was very friendly and was always very helpfull. It was the best holiday home we ever had in over 33 years.

Very pleasant house

We (group of friends) had a very pleasant stay. Good location in a very nice town with fine restaurants and good walking trails. Our host was very helpful and forthcoming Only downside was the quality of the internet but only helpful to get the kids to do all other fun things 😜

Perfect Get Away for a Girls trip

The large well appointed property is the perfect space for a girls trip, family vacation or large group get away! The five LARGE bedrooms all have either king size beds (two twins pushed together or bunks and twins. The three and and a half bathrooms are also very spacious and one has both a shower and bathtub! We messaged Paul before arriving asking for a selection of wine glasses, as our girls trip was focusing on the wines from this region of Germany, and we were pleasantly surprised with multiple different types of glasses! The adjustable heating per room was also a welcome surprise as some run cool and some run hot! Paul was very responsive to all our questions and helped locate local restaurants as we visited off season.

Ich kann nichts negatives über das Haus sagen. Es war alles sauber, der Vermieter war sehr nett und es hat an nichts gefehlt, sogar Bücher und ein paar Spiele sind da. Wir konnten das Auto stehen lassen, da wir wandern wollten und die Umgebung erkundeten. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Wij hebben met veel plezier twee weken doorgebracht in het vakantiehuis van Paul in Beilstein. Het huis is ruim, schoon en praktisch ingericht, met alles wat nodig is voor een comfortabel verblijf. Ook de ligging is ideaal: rustig gelegen aan de rand van het dorp, maar toch op loopafstand van de Moezel, restaurants en wandelroutes.Paul is een zeer vriendelijke en toegankelijke gastheer. Hij reageerde steeds snel en duidelijk op onze vragen en dacht mee waar nodig, zonder opdringerig te zijn. We voelden ons welkom en goed verzorgd.De omgeving is werkelijk schitterend – met Beilstein als sprookjesachtig dorpje, vele mogelijkheden voor wandelingen, fietstochten en uitstapjes naar bijvoorbeeld Cochem, Burg Eltz of Trier.Wij kijken terug op een fijne, ontspannen vakantie en kunnen dit verblijf van harte aanbevelen.

Hilfsbereiter Gastgeber und tolles Haus für größere Gruppen

Wir waren eine Gruppe aus 8 erwachsenen und zwei Babys.Sowohl Kinderbetten als auch Hochstühle wurden uns vor Ort bereitgestellt und insgesamt hatte das Haus alles, was man so brauchte. Zudem war es sehr sauber und es gab sogar Toilettenpapier/Zewa und alles für den Abwaschbze. Spülmaschine! Das ist auch nicht immer gegeben.

Unser kleiner Herbsturlaub an der Mosel

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem schönen Ferienhaus. Das Haus haben wir in einem sehr sauberen und gepflegtem Zustand bezogen. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet, so daß wir uns gleich wohl fühlten, auch die Heizung war schon angestellt. Der wirklich nette Vermieter kam gleich am Anreisetag und fragte ob wir soweit zufrieden sind und bot uns Hilfe bei etwaigen Problemen an. Auch am Tag vor unserer Abreise hatten wir Kontakt mit unserem Vermieter. Wir hatten noch Tips für die Küchenausstattung. Uns fehlten ein Messbecher, Topflappen und Korkuntersetzer ( z. B. für eine heiße Auflaufform o. ä..) Wir können das Haus mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Fantastische midweek in Beilstein

De vakantiewoning met gezellig terras was groot, proper en gunstig gelegen. De uitrusting in de woning was méér dan compleet. Het contact met de huiseigenaar was prettig. Beilstein is prachtig gelegen aan de Moezel en heeft uitstekende restaurants en vele terrassen om lekker te ontspannen. Ook lekker kunnen fietsen langs de Moezel. Mede ook dankzij het goede weer een geweldig verblijf gehad.

Een aanrader!

We konden een week genieten in het ruime, zéér nette vakantiehuis. Zowel binnen als buiten op het grote terras was alles piekfijn in orde. Na drie dagen gebeurde er een handdoekenwissel. De vriendelijke en zéér behulpzame gastheer gaf ons bruikbare tips en advies voor mogelijke auto-, wandel- en fietsuitstappen in de prachtige regio. Het gratis kunnen parkeren aan de woning is zeker een pluspunt. Het vakantiehuis is ook ideaal gelegen: vlakbij het gezellige centrum van Beilstein, Burg Metternich en de Moezel.

Nur zu empfehlen!

Wir waren mit insgesamt 4 Paaren in dem toll gelegenen Haus. Alles war super sauber (sowohl im Haus, als auch auf der Terrasse), die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Der Vermieter hat uns sehr nett in Empfang genommen, man konnte sich nur wohlfühlen! Die Unterkunft können wir auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!
