Incredible stay! Off the grid and an amazing view of the whole island. Everything was clean and organized and the pool and Hot tub and sauna combo made it feel like I was down at the resorts except with my own peace and serenity. Would come again

While the road to get to the house was a bit scary, with it windy, narrow roads … the morning views made up for it! We had a group of 6 ages 30-80 and everyone loved the views, hot tub and sauna after our long days of enjoying Maui.

Amazing!

We had the most amazing experience in Hawaii and was mostly due to where we stayed! David and Dawn were the most amazing hosts! Very responsive and helpful with restaurants, things to do and made our stay very comfortable! This place was perfect for our family of 5 and the views - stunning!! We plan to come back and know exactly where we would stay!!

Favorite part of our Hawaii vacation!

We absolutely loved this property. The pictures do not do the view justice - one of our favorite things was watching the sunrise/sunset on the deck while we enjoyed our meals, and swimming in the pool and hot tub all together. Such an amazing place and amazing hosts! Thank you for having us!!!

Just absolutely stunning. Beautiful views and everything that you need to make for a luxurious getaway. Great layout of the property to ensure everyone has their privacy. Loved falling asleep to the gentle breezes, lite rains, and waking up with an unobstructed view of the valley below. Close to makawao town for shopping and dining and just far enough away from everything else to make it feel like a true getaway.

Amazing Property!

I can't begin to explain how beautiful this property is! The view overlooking the valley and ocean is amazing! The pool, hot tub and outdoor shower is resort quality. David was a great host, very helpful and kind. I'd stay here again 100%.

Amazing place

This place is great. The views are incredible. We had a great time here and would have loved to stay longer. Watching the sunset from the hot tub, cooling down in the pool afterwards, lying in bed watching the moon set in the mornings. The quiet and peacefulness of the upcountry. Memories we will never forget.

The views are unmatched and the property is unique and gorgeous. It was very peaceful and quiet with the only sounds to be heard being all the birds. The hot tub was large and great temp and the sauna was very nice. The pool was cold. The hosts were great providing information about the area and very responsive to communication. Note in the description that the pool, hot tub and sauna are shared with a few other guests at the property so you have to book times on a shared calendar. It was not an issue for us while we were there. We were very happy with our stay, my parents and kid were in awe of the experience and it was a great change from the experience of west Maui.

Amazing

The pictures do not do this place justice. The views are breathtaking! I am so glad we decided not to stay on the beach for this part of our trip and really wish we could have stayed longer. The host was just as amazing. If we ever come back to Maui, we are definitely staying here again.

Peaceful stay upcountry

The host was so kind providing excellent service and making sure we had a fantastic experience. The highlight of the rental was the stunning views, offering panoramic vistas of the lush Maui landscape. The home itself was beautifully decorated, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities. The well-maintained grounds added to the charm, providing a peaceful retreat. Highly recommended.

A beautiful spot!

We had a great time. Location is beautiful. House is comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The view is amazing. Pool and whirlpool were a hit. Close to stores/restaurants in Makawao. Good hiking nearby. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Really can’t say enough about the views. I spent more time enjoying the views than reading my book! Didn’t even think about turning on the TV!

Bliss in the Mist

Ditch the beachfront condo and stay Upcountry! The silence, the view, the flora and fauna, the rain, the winds through the eucalyptus trees, the stars - where do I stop? The winding and narrow road just adds to the feeling that you are "away from it all", but don't worry, it's actually not that far from town! I know most people come to the islands to experience the beach, but this place is paradise. Come relax.
