SV Guest House- winter getaway

This large, newly construction home is the perfect setting for relaxation, great conversation, and home cooked meals. All the bed rooms and game room are upstairs. This home is nestled in a quite neighborhood close to Seaworld, Lackland AFB ; great location for base access without worries about the unpredictable San Antonio traffic. Additionally those of you who want to visit the river walk, six flag or several of the other attractions around town. Easy access to both hwy 90 and hwy 410.

If you don't want to pay for Damage protection, ask me for refundable deposit option.

Weekend wedding

My husband and I, along with our 2 adult children, and 2 dogs, stayed at this location. The house was a perfect size with plenty of room for everyone. The backyard was big, fenced in, and was perfect for our dogs. The house was clean, and checkin was super easy. The host communicated well with us. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice, but needs to be cleaned better

We enjoyed our stay and we were comfortable. It worked fine for our daughter's graduation from basic training at Lacklund. Very close to the base and activities. However the kitchen is severely lacking in proper utensils and tools. very cheap silverware, pots pans etc.. Main floor tile was filthy, socks were black after walking around for a few hours. Wore shoes the rest of the time on main floor. Maybe I missed it but was not aware of pool option on listing. Would have used if we had known. Neighborhood seemed safe except for loose dogs roaming the streets at night. Also on street parking is crazy, cars and trucks everywhere, sometimes up on sidewalks, blocking walking access. Road was basically one lane due to so many cars parked on both sides. We did walk around in the evening, but cars and dogs made it a bit challenging. Overall the place needs to be better decorated, cleaner and have better kitchenware. If those things happen it would be 5 stars.

Thanks Mike for your review. We take the cleanliness and guest comfort very seriously. NO EXCUSES. We fired the cleaning company based on your feedback. I would have had the floors mopped while you were there, if it was notified during your stay. I always follow up with guest after their first night's stay. I am sorry that you couldn't utilize the pool service, it was, mentioned in the listing as one of the amenities. This house is located in a newly developed subdivision and HOA enforces the street parking, which is out of my control. This is my vacation home where I go stay during my holidays mostly couple months in a year and I never saw loose dogs. Again, I am sorry you had to deal with loose dogs. Regarding lack of utensils, I have the pictures of the utensils on the listing and I might have added even more items after the pictures. Every family's cooking requirements are different and as a STR host, we can't satisfy every requirements, unless asked ahead of time. If you have noticed any thing missing from what you have seen in the pictures, please do let me know. My favorite part was the bed!!

I loved that it was in a short distance to everything my friends and I had planned to go and do, the first night I was exhausted and the second I laid on the master bed, I knocked out. Everything was super clean and felt like home.

Wonderful place for an extended or short stay

The Perfect home

The place was clean and just as pictured with everything you need for a long or short stay. The area is great, not far from shopping and food and it’s close to Sea world.
