The Villa la mer is located in one of the best spots of the Cote d'Azur, just in between Antibes and Cannes. The famous town Cannes which is known for its Film Festivals is within a 5 min car drive and Antibes with its beautiful Cap within 8 min. The property sits on top of a completely private residential hill of Golfe Juan. This wonderful holiday home lies in a 2000 sqm big mansion with lemon-, orange and banana trees. The Villa la mer is 300 square meters big split over 2 floors. It has 5 bedrooms (all with AC and sea view), 3 kitchens, 3 bathrooms and a very big reception area with a fireplace seating area connecting to it. The Villa la mer can easily accommodate 10 people and is perfect for a family holiday. 4 outdoor terraces (with BBQ and draft beer) and a 10x10m pool (with solar heating) will make your stay unforgettable and is a perfect spot to entertain and cook with friends. For the winter months you can enjoy our exterior sauna and a red wine at the fireplace afterwards!

Further Details: On the terrace you will find a summer kitchen with a big outdoor grill. There is a pool bar with beer on tap and a view of the ocean. Various tennis courts and a newly created 27- hole golf course are nearby. You will finde several different games in the house (dar, table tennis etc). The distance to the beach is 300 m

Distance to the beach: The beach from Golfe Juan is only 300 m away. You can either walk it down the hill by foot within 10 minutes or drive with the car within 2 minutes (several parking spaces are located there).

Great Villa Between Cannes and Antibes

We had an excellent stay at this property. Check in process was made seamless by the property manager who was also very responsive throughout our stay. The house is great for a large group with spacious bedrooms, common areas, and outdoor space. Great location between Cannes and Antibes on the hills above Golfe Juan.

Spacious Villa Beautiful Location

We stayed for 10 days in this lovely Villa located in the hills of Vallauris behind Golfe Juan. Both the owner Julien and the property manager Markus were very helpful and the check in process and after care was smooth. The Villa has beautiful views of Golfe Juan exactly as in the photos and is spacious and well equipped. 15-20 mins walk to restaurant and beaches.

I stayed at this Villa with my parter for 7 nights from June 18th and overall had an OK stay. I would say the picture don't show a true reflection of the property as it is somewhat dated and the security of the property is poor considering the theft levels in the local area. Upon departure we paid a very high water rate and were ask to pay for plumbing costs that we are 100% certain were not caused by us. I would not return or recommend.

Great villa but lacking small details

Location perfect with a gorgeous view over the Gulf, but a bit on the foot walking home from the beach. The house is nice and comfortable for a family of 10 people. The pool is perfect / great and large. We had a heatwave with 30+ and had been told that all rooms had an AC, but the otherwise large and nice room downstairs did not have it. (According to host it is planned in september to put it in). What did not meet expectations compared to the luxory level of this beautiful villa, were the number (to few) towels and their quality (a bit worn) and also dishtowels for the kitchen. Some of the sunbenches were also worn. Some complained about the matresses in their beds. Overall a very plesant stay and I am sure the host will gladly fix these small nuanses. I recommend.

It was a beautiful property. The facility had everything that we desired. For groups however it is quite overlooked so you need to be careful even when playing music around the pool in the day. Other than that it is stunning.

Wir verbrachten schöne sonnige 14 Tage in dem traumhaften Ferienhaus mit direkten Blick auf das Meer! Die Villa war sowohl innen als auch draußen sehr gepflegt, außerdem war sie sehr gut ausgestattet (Küchengeräte, Föhne etc.). Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und auf unsere Wünsche und Fragen wurde immer eingegangen! Wir können uns nicht beklagen und würden immer wieder zurück kommen!

I stayed at the villa once before and had high expectations. It didn't disappoint! It's a very easy space for 10 people to chill, eat, laugh and play - we had two children with us and felt they were safe and that we didn't have to worry all the time about what they were up to, as long as we supervised them in the pool. This is the first time I've ever reviewed something but felt it was important to let others know what a fantastic property this villa is and to confirm that the pictures absolutely do it justice. In short, our party was 11 people - 8 adults and 3 young children - and the size, general layout, BBQ and pool area were all just perfect for that number of people. There is enough space that everyone could feel relaxed and together but not on top of each other. The bedrooms are all perfectly comfortable (even if the beds are a little basic) but it's really the living space downstairs and the outside space that makes the property 5 star. On top of that everything you need is provided for and you are supported by a friendly and helpful property manager. From a location perspective, great views can only be had if you are up high and while the walk down the hill is easy, the walk up (10-12mins) will burn some calories. So, while it would be nice if there were a couple of small shops at the top of the hill to save the walk this isn't in the control of the owners. To summarise, your holiday is what you make of it but this place will certainly enhance the experience! Lastly, we have already recommended the villa to friends and will continue to do so. And hopefully we will also return again in the future.

Un endroit magnifique

Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour de 3 mois à la villa La Mer et en particulier les avantages suivants: vue panoramique sur le Cap d'Antibes et la mer, proximité du bord de mer et des commerces de Golfe Juan et de Vallauris (environ 15 minutes de marche) tranquillité complète durant toute la période de notre séjour et abondantes floraisons de fleurs et d'arbres tout autour de la maison et à proximité. Facile accès en voiture à Cannes, Antibes et Nice. Pièces confortables et service d'entretien impeccable. Le propriétaire était très disponible pour toute demande complémentaire afin de bien profiter de notre séjour. Le gérant nous a gentiment conseillé sur la découverte de la région.

Schön für Urlaub mit Freunden

Wir waren mit zwei befreundeten Familien zu Ostern in der Villa la mer. Die Ausstattung entsprach der Beschreibung. Die Schlafzimmer sind sehr geräumig und an dem großen Tisch im Esszimmer fanden alle Platz. Wir fanden den Außengrill toll und haben diesen mehrfach genutzt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und man kann zu mehreren darin das Essen zubereiten, ohne sich auf den Füßen zu stehen. Highlight für die Kinder war natürlich auch der schöne Pool, in dem sie trotz noch frühlingshaften Wassertemperaturen, oftmals geplantscht haben. Die Villa la mer liegt sehr zentral; nach Cannes und Antibes sind es jeweils nur einige Fahrminuten und auch Nizza ist in ca. 30 Minuten erreichbar. Wir haben hier eine sehr schöne Ferienwoche verbracht.

Sehr empfehlenswert

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Kinder Ostern 2010 in der Villa. Die Lage ist perfekt, sehr zentral mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Auch die Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung. Die große Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen. Für kühlere Tage bzw. schlechtes Wetter gibt es einen Kamin und eine gut sortierte Bibliothek. Der Pool ist toll - unsere Kinder haben täglich darin geplanscht, trotz zu dieser Jahreszeit relativ niedrige Wassertemperatur. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Villa wärmstens empfehlen. Robert & Wenche

Simply perfect

I stayed at this villa in June 2010. The whole experience was truly amazing. The pictures are a true reflection of this luxurious 5 bedroom villa, set in idyllic, picturesque surroundings overlooking the port. It is by the quaint village of Golfe Juan, 10 minutes drive Cannes. Accordingly you can sleep peacefully, relax by the pool then, in mere minutes, be in the party scene of Cannes; the best of both worlds in my opinion. The villa itself is clean, well maintained and kitted out with everything you can want. From the infinitely pool, BBQ, sauna, every kitchen appliance you can imagine, TV, stereo and endless supply of linen/towels. We wanted for nothing. The security is also first rate and I felt very safe. I am a well travelled and used to a good quality of life. Villa mit traumhaften Blick!

Die Villa liegt oberhalb von Vallauris (5-7 min. mit dem Auto) und bietet eine traumhafte Aussicht über den Golf von Juan und Juan le Pin. Im Ort befinden sich zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den tgl. Bedarf. Die Villa besitzt einen großzügigen Pool direkt vor der Terasse und mit traumhafter Aussicht. Es sind ebenfalls drei Küchen vorhanden, die Hauptküche im Erdgeschoss ist komplett eingerichtet für die Selbstverpflegung und zwei kleinere im Obergeschoss. Es sind vier Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss nett und zweckmässig eingerichtet und mit direktem Zugang zur Terasse und wahnsinns Ausblick. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und bieten auch die Möglichkeit sich mal zurück zu ziehen. Es gibt ein goßes Bad im Untergeschoss mit Toilette,Whirpool und Dusche und noch eine separate Toilette. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein Esstisch für 10 Personen und angrenzend eine Sitzecke vor dem Kamin mit Musikanlage. Im Obergeschoss gibt es zwei Badezimmer eins mit Dusche das andere mit Badewanne und Dusche. Ein Barbecue und eine Sauna stehen ebenfalls im Außenbereich des Hauses zur Verfügung. Die Villa in der Gegend bietet einem schnelle Erholung und die Möglichkeit abens in den Ort hinab zu gehen und die Strandpromenade entlang zu flanieren. Wir waren nun schon viermal hier und haben es jederzeit genossen. Das Haus und das Umland sind traumhaft gelegen und man erholt sich schon nach kurzer Zeit. Wir können dieses Domizil nur weiter empfehlen und freuen und schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt dort. Rene und Dennis mit Freunden :-)

The best of both worlds

In the summer the buzzing South of France can be an array of experiences. From my past dwelling in the area I can firmly state staying at this villa has been one of my most enjoyable ones yet. In the midst of the beautiful mountains, you have cool breezes and amazing sun throughout the day. The terrace is fully fitted for a most pleasurable and relaxed day, while feeling part of the action in the infinity pool that over looks the busy bay. Surrounded by natural beauty that gives its distinct privacy, the gardens are a delight to ponder around. The interiors are simple, functional but above all clean and contemporary, with a complete kitchen not lacking in any type of utensil to prepare lovely meals for you and your guests, as well as a fantastic bbq on the terrace. Just moments away from the town where you can buy anything needed for your stay, this villa is a 20 min drive to Cannes if you feel the need for some activities (day or night) or 30 mins from Antibes for a change of scenery. The gulf of Juan its self (10 mins away) is filled with charming little restaurants and bars next to beach. All in all this is a perfect way to spend a few weeks in the sun, in one of the busiest european getaways in a charming, relaxing atmosphere.
