Loved the house. Very clean, well equipped, they thought of everything. Easy communication - hosts very responsive. Great family vacay for my 2 sons, their wives and my grandson. Great location as well.

Beautiful OB Getaway

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this beautiful Ocean Beach property. House is beautifully decorated and was very clean. Having the beach chairs, towels and umbrellas for use was great (not having to lug them from home - bonus!). Host was easy to get in touch with and provided a resourceful guide of where to go and what to do for those not familiar with Fire Island. We all look forward to coming back next year.

We rented this home last minute for friends joining our Fire Island trip and for additional space for our group. The location was convenient, the kitchen was in good working order, and the home served its purpose, but there were several issues worth noting.The window AC units were older and had a hard time adequately cooling the space. The filters had significant dust and buildup, so we ended up cleaning all of them ourselves. We also noticed what appeared to be mold in the vents of the back bedroom AC.The outdoor space, particularly the deck, was smaller than we expected from the photos. Linens, towels and beach mats were fairly basic, and a couple of the provided bicycles were not usable.Our biggest disappointment was after checkout. We left a little late while finishing laundry and cleaning up to help with the turnover, which we apologized for. We stripped the beds, started laundry and the dishwasher, and left the home very tidy.Afterward, the owner found us in town to confront us about items left behind and threw them down at our feet. We found the interaction unnecessarily confrontational and an unfortunate end to our stay.I manage vacation rentals myself, so I understand an owner’s frustration and acknowledge we should have been out on time. However, we took good care of the property and felt the situation could have been handled much more respectfully. We would choose a different property next time.

A total false review that came after we had a discussion about how they left our home. The day before we sent instructions to remove all personal food, hygienic and garbage from the home, and upon check out, we went in to find the house left with garbage everywhere. Food all over the counters, in the fridge, garbage bags everywhere, etc. We have the photos to show how they treated our home and all of the garbage they left behind. What they disliked the most was being caught lying and being bad guests.

Sunny side rental!!

Absolutely adorable home! Owners did a great job with the amenities in the home. Linens are great quality! Clean clean and clean for a beach rental, definitely will be booking again!
