Was a terrific apartment to rent—all the amenities you could ask for and a safe, quiet location. I’d book with this company again.

My family's experience renting this property this past weekend was very poor. While the apartment and amenities were good, the apartment was disgusting and dirty. It we had any other choice, we would've left immediately. When we arrived, the apartment looked like someone tried hard to do as little as possible to make it look clean. The previous occupant had a pet, and there was hair everywhere. The floors had not been swept, the carpet had not been vacuumed, and the rugs in the bathroom had not been washed. In five minutes, our clothes and bags were covered in pet hair. There was dog food on the floors around the apartment, and the nightstand in the queen room was apparently used as a feeding station, as there was dog food on it and it had to be scraped off. The shower curtain was covered in mold, and the bathtub and sink didn't drain properly. To top it all off, the sheets on the bed had not been washed/changed. Someone seriously thought they could make the bed, with dirty, stained, dog-hair covered sheets, and the new guests wouldn't notice?!? I emailed the contact right away and they asked for details and photos, which I immediately provided. They did not respond until 10:30 the next morning. They offered to come in and clean, but I had spent 2-3 hours the night before cleaning and washing all the linens. After we left, I asked for a refund of the cleaning fee. I got no response.

Most importantly, it was very clean. The layout was comfortable. Minutes to Duke medical facilities and fun places to eat. Whole Foods nearby.

Stay in Durham

Overall, we enjoyed the stay with one major exception, no cable or even access to local over the air channels. Also, there was a request to move the garbage which we understand, but it seemed that the garbage pails were full and not from us.
