This trip was just what we needed. The camp was perfect and well stocked with activities for everyone. The location was great for snowmobiling and ice fishing. Host was very responsive.
Beautiful setting right on the lake. We even saw an eagle right on the lawn, as well as a family of ducks and a family of Canadian geese. Easy access to ATV trails.
Moose hunting in district 2 . Couldn’t have found a better spot, close to store/gas/ restaurant and where we wanted to hunt. My grandson enjoyed fishing right off the property. Cabin was immaculate. Considering booking a stay for next summer with the wife and dog. Chad was great . 10 stars
This property and owner were fantastic
It’s very comfortable well maintained and in a great location
All six of us were happy to be there and hated to leave. Thanks again for a great time
My Family had a small reunion at Portage Lake. The cabin ended up being the perfect meeting spot. We had dinner there every night. The grill and burners outside were perfect for a clambake and grilling.
We sat by the fire pit, with the children fishing, riding bikes and making smores.
It was truly one of the most relaxing and enjoyable locations I have ever been.
On the Rainy days we played board games, did karoke and laughed alot.
Chad and Jana were incredibly hospitable and accommodating.
My husband and I rented the "Caron Camp" for a four day getaway. It was more than we could have asked for! Very cozy and comfortable. Access to the ATV trails right from the driveway. Comfy bed, heat pumps for A/C and heat, good water pressure in the shower. They have games on hand, plenty of dishes, pots and pans for cooking. Nice front deck with gas grill. I would highly recommend this property. Thanks Chad and Jana! We will definitely be booking again in the future!
The cabin had everything we needed and more. Lots of room and very comfortable with multiple heat sources including fireplace. We had a great stay. Highly recommend.
