Wake up to stunning uninterrupted views of the Wallowa Mountains. Plotted on a 177 acre active hay farm this 3800 square foot home is sure to give you an authentic small town experience.

Positioned just 2 miles outside of Joseph Oregon and 4 miles from Wallowa lake it is a convenient location to enjoy all that our small town has to offer while maintaining the peace and quiet you deserve.

The home is equipped with vaulted ceilings, large dining and living spaces to kick your feet up and get away from the hustle and bustle. Sleeping up to 12 people with ease this makes for a great place to get the family together and reconnect with old friends.

Take in a breath of fresh air in our spacious yard perfect for barbecues and relaxation with loved ones. Spend your evenings unwinding in our jacuzzi tub with a book or challenge the gang to a board game up on our loft game table.

My husband stayed at this house with 3 friends for a fishing weekend. They had an issue with bedbugs in two of the rooms, which needs to be addressed. Many of the lights did not have shades and were harsh i.e. shop lights. Otherwise the house was adequate, but not special.

Great family gathering space

We brought together several families with kids ranging from 2 months to 17 years old. The house was very clean and spacious, the yard was great for letting the kids run around, and the view is gorgeous! We had a fantastic time. Communication was very prompt. The only negative was that the sounds REALLY carried in this space, but otherwise the property was really wonderful.

Shhh…Keep Quiet About Joseph!

Joseph and the Wallowa Lake region are spectacular and I feel torn about this review; the more talk about how wonderful the area is, the more people will come to experience the region for themselves. Cory’s Ox Shoe Farms house was the perfect setup for my family. Large, plenty of space, beds, sofas, bathrooms, etc. the house was extremely clean with updated furnishings, bedding, and towels. The kitchen was well stocked and included pots, pans, bakeware, cooking utensils, etc., coffee (ground and Keurig pods), some basic seasonings, and foil & plastic wrap. The location is only a short drive to all of the areas main attractions and the view from the property is stunning! Cory and Liz were great hosts and were quick to respond with questions. I will definitely return!

Tranquil Location with Beautiful Mountain Views

This house was just the spot to celebrate our parents’ 60th wedding anniversary. Restful, peaceful, gorgeous mountain views made our time refreshing. The house provides plenty of living space and the added loft area offers even more options. Kitchen is nicely stocked with basics. There was one cookie sheet so bring your own bakeware if you will need more than that. Town (Joseph) is minutes away and offers lots of fun places to explore. Owner is very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this place!

We were nine adults, three couples and three more friends. The house is large with comfortable rooms, a great kitchen for cooking and lots of room for hanging out. Nice big deck in the back overlooking the mountains. What a view. Great location for accessing Joseph, Enterprise, the Wallowas and Hells Canyon. The house was spotlessly clean. We cooked our meals at the house most of the time and had plenty of space for all of the chefs in the group. Our host quickly responded to all of our questions. We highly recommend this property for a great friends and family stay.

We all had an amazing time staying at the Ox Shoe Farm house. It was nice just being minutes from the town and the lake, but having that nice quite privacy when we came back to the house. Lots of fun things to do in town to keep you entertained or if you're looking for a more relaxing vacation beautiful views to sit back and enjoy! Would recommend!
