A Pelican Paradise.... Fun In The Sun Year Round!

Welcome to A Pelican Paradise. She is a gorgeous home with so much fun!!! There are huge porches on both floors of this home. And... most important... A Pelican Paradise is handicap accessible to the first floor with a ramp, wide doorways, and a handicap accessible shower that has just a small rise to keep water in so a shower chair could be easily rolled in). This is a beautiful home that works fantastic for anyone!

This home is brand new to us 3/30/2021 so there are lots of all new things...
* new "outdoor living room" (being installed April 2021) with new huge screen smart TV
* new plank flooring throughout (looks great and lets us keep all real clean!)
* new lighting - look sharp!
* new linens... comforters, sheets, towels, bathcloths, etc.
* new decor & furnishings
* new gas grill
* huge porches on both floors...new poly-resin glider!
* full size laundry room with full size washer and dryer
* pet friendly (150/small-medium size dog... no rottweilers or pitbulls or mixes of them) Dogs must be approved by owner by you sending us a picture of your dog.
* plenty of shaded parking underneath the home - easily room for 4+ vehicles.
(note the resort does collect 12/day/car for the mandatory parking passes)
And..... we also have 2 super customized golf carts that can be rented with the home too.

We are located in Ocean Lakes which is just 4 miles from downtown Myrtle Beach and is 310 acres of resort on almost 1 mile of ocean front property. The amenities here are fantastic......
* huge outdoor water park (usually open weekends starting Easter weekend and open all summer and late into the fall)
* indoor heated pool open year round
* many ponds for fishing (no fishing license required)
* gated 24/7 security with all private roads that have 10mph speed limits
* on site restaurant, grocery store, and laundrymat
* huge observation tower overlooking sunrise beach
* basketball courts, horseshoes, beanbag courts, & playground areas
* rec center for the kiddos and teens
* discounts at nearby Prestwick Country Club golf course
* very close to all the amazing shopping, restaurants, and entertainment venues of Myrtle Beach.

We are super pleased to offer A Pelican Paradise for rent. Please do note that we only rent to 25+ year olds and it is for families to use (please no bachelor parties, graduation parties, etc.) From May-August we rent by the week - Saturday to Saturday.

Perfect house for the whole family!

We absolutely loved our week at this property. We come to Ocean Lakes several times a year and this is our favorite house yet. We had plenty of space for the whole family to spread out and enjoy. The owners were fantastic and very communicative. All you need is your bathing suit to stay here - they’ve got everything else covered! Thanks for the great memories! We’ll be back!

Great Time. Great Host.

Great place. Ocean Lakes has a great water park and arcade.as well as cafes for coffee and souvenier shop. The house Is set up for handicap persons with ramps and handbars in the main floor master bath. The two porch areas and the ground floor by the grill had lots of seating and space for gathering. And the golf cart was perfect for getting around the resort. We made great memories thanks to a great host.

Why they chose this property

A Pelican Paradise is a beautiful home for anyone to stay in. If someone in your group has bad knees or is handicapped, the ramp to the first floor is perfect. Also the first floor has wider doorways and a handicap accessible shower too! The shower is large and just has a slight rise on the front edge to keep the water in... so someone could be wheeled into the shower in a shower chair. All that is to say... .this is the perfect home for anyone and even works super well for someone handicapped or elderly.
