This house and property was absolutely amazing, from booking all the way through checkout the process was flawless, made an average weekend into a great vacation 5 stars.
We really enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable, amenities were as described, and many things were included/present that added to the stay. Highly recommend.
We had a great time, despite some very rainy weather. There are so many details that are provided with this rental. The hosts were super responsive and accommodating. Beds were very comfy and access to the lake was awesome. We took advantage of the kayaks and also brought a zodiac boat, which was a fun way to explore the quiet coves of the lake. We had some epic rounds of Rummikub during the rain and watched college football while taking advantage of the grill. We would love the chance to stay here again!
This is the first review I have left after renting multiple places. Our stay was wonderful and the host was the most attentive we have ever had…she was prompt in responding any question I had. We loved the house; we were dropping our son off at GMC and sadly our schedule was too busy to actually walk down to the lake…we are hopeful we can do that our next visit!
Perfect place for family getaway away from the hustle and bustle. communication was stellar, the home location was incredible and had everything we needed…
Such a lovely house and fully equipped! You can tell it is owned and loved by a family. Pretty and comfortable!Pretty lot and quiet location.Excellent location for kayaking, and good kayaks are furnished. Not so great for swimming as it is quite shallow.
We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The home was clean and had everything you needed for fun stay. It was great to have all the kayak options too. We would definitely consider staying there again.
The house was so clean & beautiful! The house was also stocked with everything & beds were so comfy! We enjoyed hanging on the peaceful dock with our dogs & kayaking. Great getaway! Highly recommend!

Our experience was nothing like what the photos or positive reviews led us to expect. The pictures appear to be from years ago because the property today looks very different and clearly has not been maintained. The exterior was covered with mold and mildew everywhere, and the property just felt neglected. The inside wasn’t much better. The furniture is old and worn, the couch practically sits on the floor, there was dog hair on the floor when we arrived, and worst of all, there were visible dog stains on the carpet. It felt more like an old bachelor pad than a vacation rental. Also, don’t be fooled by the advertised “welcome basket” - there wasn’t one. And the pretty photos showing a well-lit path to the house were misleading. The path is washed out and there are NO lights on the path itself to guide you to the house at night. My 84-year-old father had to stumble his way up using a lantern we happened to bring, and even with that, he could barely see. I’m including a photo of what that “path” actually looks like at night.Overall, the place just felt dirty, rundown and very different from what is represented in the listing. We were so uncomfortable that we ended up leaving two nights early. I rarely leave reviews like this, but I would have appreciate

There are some guests who are just not a great fit and some guests who will never be happy. This happens sometimes in the rental business.
We appreciate the feedback regarding the stain on the carpet and the torn flag. As we accept pets, this can happen. A carpet cleaner has been scheduled and the torn flag has been appropriately discarded.
Regarding the path lighting, the shared picture carefully avoids the lights from the firewood shed, the dock, and the house porch. While it does appear some of our in-ground lights were missing, we were not given the opportunity to have them replaced with the extras we keep on the property nor point the guest to the provided flashlights in the kitchen.

Our property was wonderful-very clean, comfortable-had everything needed to cook and hangout. Be aware that there are no restaurants or grocery stores anywhere in the near vicinity. We were driving back and forth from Milledgeville for graduation parties-so there was a lot of driving. We loved our accommodations !
Our 4 person family + my parents + our dogs had a wonderful time at Cove's End! We had a blast boating on the lake, tubing, kayaking, bonefires at night, playing board games after dinner with the kids, and exploring the areas history. We appreciate the quietness of the area in addition to the friendly people we encountered. The stay was so comfortable and had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back.
We had a great experience. The owners were very easy to communicate with and everything was just as detailed out. We loved the nature, animals and kayaking in the lake. Everything was available for cooking and we even made smores. Definitely stop for groceries on the way. Would highly recommend to our family and friends.
It wasnt what i thought, but was a great experience. The home was very nice, everything you could need. Would be a great property for a family. It was mountainous, which i loved, didnt expect that.
We really enjoyed our stay! The house itself was wonderful, clean, a great size and stocked with everything you need and more!! The neighborhood wasn’t the best and it’s very far from any kind of store or restaurant so get groceries on the way in. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking! The area in front of the dock is very shallow so older kids didn’t want to swim and touch the bottom but other than that, everything was perfect! We would come again!

House was beautiful, clean and well stocked. Everything was there that was needed for cooking except an electric mixer (needful). Family loved kayaking and fishing. Ad should mention that the water in Cove's in is not deep at all. Overall a good stay.

We're so glad that you enjoyed the home! We'll definitely look for a mixer, as we love to cook on vacation as well. The water depth can really vary based on rain levels and the control of the Army Corps of Engineers, but I'll definitely make sure that's better represented in our description. We hope to see you again soon!
Update: The mixer has been added to the kitchen for all future bakers to enjoy!
The Coves End is a fantastic property for family to gather- and pet friendly. Very serene location, waterfront in an idyllic setting. We loved the layout. First floor king bed for us (very comfortable bed, too) with 2 more bedrooms upstairs with an additional full bath. The deck, fire pit, dock and kayaks were an added bonus.
Kitchen is well stocked with all sizes of pots, pans and kitchen gadgets.
The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful.
Great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Lake Sinclair.
